I feel this too, I think then my answer would be PC. I think I have friends that would be closest to her and it restored the balance in the friend groups and personal relationships. The organisation to my chaos. I’ve always head canon that todd has adhd and dyspraxia (things that I have), I know that probably sounds annoying to ppl who aren’t adhd or autistic whatever who also see themselves in him, or relate to him deeply, but he fits my profile for those traits really well
Although she has some social anxiety and parent-related problems, she seems to know herself really well. We can see that when she felt she had to take a time from PB and then divorce him and live by herself (choosing also not to live with BJ). Also, its revealed she has been going to therapy for a while, what means she knew she needed help. Furthermore, during the whole series, she's the one who BJ asks life advices to, and she mostly gives the best ones.
I don't know... I don't think any of the main characters are particularly emotionally intelligent. Though Princess Caroline may be the most emotionally intelligent but even then I don't think so (like her ability to separate personal life from work... keeping BoJack as a client while actively breaking up with him). Diane has pretty extreme avoidance issues, self medicates with alcohol, is actually pretty self-absorbed a lot of the time, stubborn/in denial, she gives good advice to other but doesn't follow this advice. By the end of the series, she's pretty emotionally intelligent but throughout her journey, not really.
People always say this, but you shouldn't define a person by their worst mistake. And I might point out that he was ready to dump pickles and get back with Diane but she didn't want too.
I'd say Todd because my life always felt so out of ci trol and all I could do to cope with it was get high. but as soon as I got serious and wanted to give my life direction, it felt like the people around me didn't want that for me and just wanted to keep me in that "party no ambitions" zone. Todd felt like he grew out of the people who held him from his full potential.
I can't even lie, it's gotta be Todd
i think we would all use a little todd energy in our lives. in fact, we should just be a little more todd all the time
Sometimes I think I might be the Todd to people around me

dude i love diane
shes also the most emotionally intelligent
Is she? I’m curious how you come to this conclusion

PC is ride or die
Judah

Mr Peanutbutter. He’s such an uplifting force
AND he pays! :D he would be a useful friend for sure 😁
But he cheats on Pickles! And cheating is never cool

Todd, P.C., and Lenny Turtletaub (I love J.K. Simmons 😂)
I love Kelsey.

Judah seems to “get it” and he is comfortable with himself.
It has to be PC so that someone could tell me to get my shit together for real!

also if Paige wasn’t so annoying, she’s actually really profound and thoughtful character
