I’ve tried to watch it through more times but it really hits too close.
I also gravitate towards it when I’m feeling worse and I just know it’s not gonna be good for me to watch when I’m low already.
Too bad cuz it’s such a good show.
I feel exactly the same way. I can’t stand to watch it except when I’m going through something. Maybe it helps me process my feelings, idk. I love it though.

i actually feel ashamed to admit this, ive rewatched bojack 71 times. i usually finished it in about 15 days, and i watch it for 2 hours a day without watching the credits but with the intro (u cant skip a bojack intro). ive spent ROUGHLY 2070 hours watching bojack. anyway.. that’s about 86 days.. this show has been my hyperfixation for YEARS.

I want to watch again, but last year I watched it with my brother's girlfriend, and some months after that she convinced my brother to watch it too. So we started my filth-maybe-sixth watch.
They were in a rough spot in their relationship. I was worried on the episode where Diane says she was so tired of squinting because I had some insight about the reason for the rough spot.
Well, a couple weeks later we started season 6. We got to The Face of Depression, stopped it, and the next week they broke up.
My brother lost the appetite for the show since it was a thing he was doing with her.
They're still friends, so are me and her. She won't come to our house because of some bad feelings with our sister tho, and that's the only reason we haven't finished it yet. I've been on the mood for my sixth-maybe-seventh watch, so I'm setting it up for us to finish it one these days. Then I'll restart it the next day.

3x as a whole. Plus 5x season 1. 4x season 2. 3x season 3. I used to rewatch the whole thing before new seasons but you can tell that fell off at season 4.
