It fainted and managed to get up and run into the nearby forest. They have since captured it and are planning to release it far from human inhabitants.
Not sure if this is a reliable source but thats what i found

Glad the elephant is okay. Btw, it was a Porsche Cayenne that hit em.
>Btw, it was a Porsche Cayenne that hit em.
The driver's insurance agent: "Y-You hit a W-WHAT...???!!!"
The elephant's insurance agent: "Y-You got hit by a W-WHAT...???!!!"
LMAO this is so sad, some people are so dissatisfied with their own lives they can't even bear to see a stranger, about whom they know nothing, and resort to calling them douche and acah2 datuk, just because the person is driving a car they probably would never have a chance to own. I don’t see any of the report mentioning DUI? It's a jungle out there, and elephants are known to cross roads. People more successful than you don’t deserve sympathy? LOL B like get off your high horse and stop hiding your insecurities behind this pathetic excuse.
I know this road as I have travelled it many times. A DUI driver will not be able to drive at all on this road.
It's dark, and just after the kampung there is a 90 degree turn (if going straight it will be to the beach)
It's also not a common for an elephant to be there. Cows and goats are more the usual fare.
This guy is really unlucky to have hit an elephant.
Weird. My dad once hit babi hutan at jalan kampung. Babi got knocked off then immediately get up and ran back into forest. Front bumper on the other side looks like shit it makes me think we hit some high wall or something. Babi punya babi.
So I wonder which supersonic car able to hit gajah and made it fainted (?) on the ground like that. Not sure that elephant is dead or not. I dunno I'm not an elephant expert.
Babi hutan sure ran away, but most of the time died somewhere else, internal organ damage not die immediately. Unless he got in time to babi hospital inside babi country in the forest.
This is normally the case. Maybe 1 or 2 might survive but the internal damage usually leaves them either severely deformed or suffering for their whole lives afterwards
Bro babi hutan are fucking strong ok. My cousin punya kebun they will charge through the razor wire and barb wire to makan the banana. Since to get gun license next to impossible we used tractors to dig 10 feet holes around the kebun and cover it with coconut leaf. Once the fucker falls down we mintak tolong the neighbour kebun owner who has a shotgun to come tembak. And then bbq partayyyy
It's not the license that i hate. It's the "next to impossible" part that i hate. Look at Iceland, plenty of hunters and armed farmers. No one shot anyone. Besides, America would still be violent even without the guns. It shouldn't be "next to impossible" for farmers. If not firearms, at least allow airguns for farmers to use.
Ya well it's also attitude of the ppl, its a big responsibility owning a firearm big or small. You think you can trust most Malaysians with these kinda responsibility kah?
old people say hitting babi hutan is worse than hitting any other animals, because babi hutan are more "padu" like dense? heavy?
IDK i'm just saying what I heard from pakcik2 while travelling
Are you sure an elephant that size will get killed by a car this size?
Judging from the road I doubt the car is going that fast
Plus the car don’t seem to have a dent on it
A porsche hit the elephant. There was another post earlier showing the damage to the car and news that the elephant had leg injuries but went back to the jungle. Currently the perhilitan officers are looking for the poor elephant
Sorry, but I can't understand why in every post that I've seen about this incident, people are bashing the driver. Can someone explain? From shrugging off the driver to wishing harm. Just because they drive an expensive car?
Because elephant don't walk or run at more than 60 km/h. Elephants are also dumber than humans. It's the driver's fault if any accident happened since as a licensed driver, he was supposed to have the technology and intelligence to stop at a moment's notice if there was anything on the road.
What if it isn't an elephant and it's a person he rammed into?
It's at night and doesn't look like there's much light. I don't see a single road light. Plus the elephant skin is dark coloured. Still the drivers fault I guess huh?
That's what I'm thinking. It's night, dark skin, no street lights. Aside from that we don't know how fast he was going, was it raining, was his vision of the front affected by other drivers headlights or high beams. So many factors but people immediately jump to extreme negativity. Just because the guy is more successful.
Of course not.
Drivers are expected to drive in a safe and acceptable manner. They should be constantly alert and be ready to react appropriately to situations like this. But shit happens. Sometimes conditions line up in an unfortunate way and accidents happen even when everything was done right. You can do everything right yet still lose.
If your takeaway is dark skinned pedestrians should just die at night, then I think you should re-evaluate.
And if you want to go that way, yea it's harder to see a dark skinned person wearing all black than a light skinned person wearing all white, especially if the scenrio is similar to this elephant incident. I don't think there's anything wrong in saying that. It's a fact, not an opinion. Downvote me if you want lol.

Oh thank god! I was sad for the elephant. Porsche Cayenne? Must be some douche yg acah2 datuk.

Exactly my point.

The babi hutan ran away on pure adrenaline and probably dropped dead right after it wears off.
This is normally the case. Maybe 1 or 2 might survive but the internal damage usually leaves them either severely deformed or suffering for their whole lives afterwards
What if babi doesn't have Babi Insurance 😭😭 god this world is so cruel
If like that loh gajah probably got hit by 2 car
Might be the case also. Or that gajah simply fainted from the shock of being hit lol
Maybe, if I was a gajah I would also faint from being scared
Gajah scared to pay damage of that porsche
😂

Safety la. U want another America on your hands isit

It's actually pretty easy if you are Malay and own a land title in the rural area. Otherwise, no chance.
Even that is getting difficult d. If you have a break in then maybe can justify but yeah, it's getting harder.

Elephants have good memory, beware that it seeks revenge in the future

The lil Elle is alive,it just fainted.
Hope the Elephant is not seriously hurt. That Porsche is definitely speeding.
Where's the car that hit it tho? My car that hit a cow in Kelantan got totaled
A porsche hit the elephant. There was another post earlier showing the damage to the car and news that the elephant had leg injuries but went back to the jungle. Currently the perhilitan officers are looking for the poor elephant
Car in Terengganu got hit by an elephant
Elephant hit a car
Quite sure it's the other way around.
sakit kereta tu

So you seriously saying that dark skinned pedestrians should just die when you are driving at night? Please just use Grab.
Of course not. Drivers are expected to drive in a safe and acceptable manner. They should be constantly alert and be ready to react appropriately to situations like this. But shit happens.
