i think boomers deep down do know that they are selfish little goblin failures of a human who destroyed the world and everyone hates them and that fact broke their minds because they always pictured being treated like kings and queens when they aged so now they just abuse everything and everyone around them like they're in the looney bin (which they actually need to go to and ***fuck off*** out of society) because they actually have lost their minds

I suspect that as the boomers decrease in number, a lot of nursing homes/care facilities/senior living places will close. The rest will need to compete a little, and I totally see how therapy would be a valuable amenity in the future.
They've lived for decades as the center of attention. Everything was geared to their interests, and their kind surrounded them.
Each year is now making it clear to boomers they've overstayed their welcome in the center of the universe, trying to run everything and make everything about them.
Other people have lived their entire lives waiting for boomers to make room, and their presence hinders progress. The next generation is done waiting.
Some boomers might be realizing that they've made a mess, and it pisses off the people responsible for paying to clean it up.
Imagine being so nosy you can see a small padded package in the door jam of a house that isn't yours and being so self-important that you go scream at the neighbors, again in a house you don't live in, about a package that neither belongs to them or you. How are these people not exhausted by themselves?
Lol. No idea. My aunt is the same way and I'm like "Just listening to you is exhausting, gosh!"
And she complains that she can't sleep. Imagine that...you getting worked up to the point of screaming at neighbors for the tiniest little things and having a caffeine addiction that rivals Lorelai Gilmore AND then wondering why you have insomnia.
It's just all so self unaware!
If there’s a RULE they feel it’s their duty to enforce it. Doesn’t matter what the RULE is, by golly they will take it upon themselves to let everyone know to follow the rules! But also, they don’t have to because they are old.
If I'm not expecting a visitor I won't open the door. If it's important, like emergency services with more information than me, they won't wait for me to open the door.
I don't have much time on this planet. If I want to spend it communing with nature while on mushrooms...

I think boomers think that they deserve the respect that the older generations worked for just because they got old and now have not gone through any sort of hardship so that their biggest issue is criticizing somebody else’s choices that they have no say in.
I must say, I'm growing rather tired of hearing and experiencing these same stories over and over again without these buffoons learning anything or facing consequences. I wonder what would happen if we started pushing back quite hard on these people to make them realize how utterly ridiculous they are, and that they can not, in fact, do or say whatever they please. Time to reign it in my humble opinion.
