I recently replayed BL2, and while looking up an item that dropped I learned that it’s red flavor text was a reference to a Discworld novel that I haven’t read yet. That jumps it to #1 for that game. Except, I can’t remember what the item was.

"Thank you for taking your time to read this flavour text. This flavour text loves you." Or "Not that kind" on rocket boots as it calls you out for even thinking you'd be privileged enough to get actual _rocket boots_

I may be breaking the rules, but mine is from a Destiny 1 weapon. A sniper called the 1000 Yard Stare. The red text is: > “You can see everything. You can unsee nothing.” It works on so many levels. 1000 yard stare is obviously a reference to the long range sight of a sniper, but also the empty expression of soldiers with PTSD. Then to text also refers to first the range of the sight, and then the traumatic experience, while cleverly barely changing up the words.
