this was my issue. the fringe on a solid color dress would be lovely. the lace without the cut outs or fringe could work. the cut outs on a solid color, also could be lovely.

I thought the same thing. I like the elements individually, like a svelt laser cut lace with cutouts would have been chic, but the fringe makes it look ill fitting, and the cutouts just don’t work with the pattern or shape of the dress. It’s too many ideas for one garment.

Please don’t come for me but in the few episodes I’ve seen with her in season 11 (I haven’t finished it, I’m a couple episodes away from the end) I really didn’t mind her / I liked her quirky personality. From what I understand she use to be really close with Kristen which of course says a lot, but I’m interested to know why people have such strong feelings about Jo? I’m not rallying behind her, just asking for some context so I can be more in the loop lol.
(Admittedly I do play video games when I watch VPR so it’s very likely I’ve missed something - or haven’t paid much attention to anything outside of the show. IE: Online gossip and things of that nature.)
I think it's because she comes off as a girl who likes to throw rocks and then hide her hands. She acts nice to Katie, commiserates about her divorce then shacks up with Schwartz without any heads up to Katie and when Katie is inevitably put off by this behaviour Jo cries and pretends not to understand.
She's doubled down on it when confronted and then asked Katie for an apology, it's just very reminiscent of how Rachel acted to Katie in season 10- actively being a bad friend but then crying that Katie is the mean one 🙄
I don’t know why I keep forgetting that she was nice to Katie and then moved in with Schwartz but that’s a completely valid reason. I’m not a fan of Katie, I’ve always thought she was pretty miserable and even when I agreed with her it was difficult because of how she approaches things but this makes a ton of sense regardless. Such shady behavior which is really unfortunate.

So you spent time with Ariana and Sandoval together as a couple, then you spent time with Sandoval and Rachel sneaking around, and thought that was totally on the up and up? Or you never once had a conversation about any of it with Schwartz? Or we're supposed to believe that she was living with Schwartz at the time Sandoval was using his place as a hookup spot with Rachel, and she just... never noticed? Bitch please. Just admit you knew and you didn't say anything because you weren't that close to Ariana as you were to the Toms/you were trying to be the "cool girl" for Schwartz.
TLDR: She tries to act like she's friends with and wants the best for everyone and is all for peace and love and quirkiness and that she's a victim of everyone else's mean girl behavior but she's full of it and no better than all the other terrible people on the show lol
