She is the most basic and most classic assassin in the game. There's nothing that makes her particularly unique, she should have been epic, if not super rare. But I think she will be fun
I think unless she has unique Star power like Larry N Lawrie her addition would be not a major change design wise. The reason why they're giving her Mythic is due to how easy it is to unlock any brawler upto epic in a single day for accounts with significant progress.
*A new change in brawl stars should be addition of 2 rarities: One between epic and mythic.*
*And the other one between mythic and legendary.*
Meta wise I don't think she would OP unless her gadgets stun or slow enemy or has a broken star power. Fang would still be way better than her in ranked as it is mostly comprised of 3v3 game modes. And lily can't team wipe and focuses on a single brawler. So except knockout and gem grab no other good game modes for her. My prediction is she will be low A tier
They do it so that people struggle to get them and are forced to buy them through early access or brawl pass with money. After this brawler we will get a legendary so f2p players will get exhausted the next 2 or 3 months 🤦🏽♂️
As much as people try to defend the game by saying it's pay2progress its still has p2w element in the game and newly released Brawlers are always always broken in some way until their eventual nerfs
Because rarities represent how complex is the brawler,for example,rare brawlers are really simple and Don t have complex abilities,but legendary brawlers have complex abilities,like Chester that has different attacks.It is verry hard to make a rare or super rare brawler that is unique
Actually is way more nuanced than that. Legendary aren't actually the ones to introduce complex mechanics, let me explain that:
Rares introduce the player common traits you'll see in other brawlers (Nita has a simple attack that eventually lets her summon a unit that targets enemies)
Super Rares introduce extra mechanics or strategies to the player (Rico has bouncing bullets so you don't need to play him like Colt)
Epics introduce synergy, they usually have a powerful main attack with a downside or lower potential, but a super that has great utility, enhancing their strength or helping them fufill their roles. (Piper is very weak at close range, but she can use her super to punish, repel, escape or wallbreak)
Mythics are actually the ones to introduce complex gameplay, most of them having a unique combination of main attack + super than just having a slight twist. Their super is a usually very overtuned version of other supers, but most of mythics are just wild cards (Ok it's kinda hard to explain Lou, Fang and Mortis sharing the same rarity lol)
Legendaries introduce the player unique mechanics, but unique don't mean complex, all legendaries are pioneers in their mechanics, and they usually are the ones that use that mechanic to their fullest strenght ( Spike and Crow being the first slow and DoT, Leon being the first to occult vision, Sandy's technically in the code summons a temporary "bush" object, Amber being the flamethrower brawler, Meg's being first dual mode, Chester's being the first multi-super, Kit being Kit, and Draco's aside from stealing a lot of mechanics from other brawlers... I guess his dragon mode is the first to have permanent damage reduction unlike other shields.)

Going by your logic Darryl and Bull are the same brawler, Dynamike and Barley are the same brawler and countless other examples. I get the comparison but they are pretty dang different other than the basic attack range (and even that is a stretch considering Fang has 3 charges and a projectile while Lily has 1 charge, no projectile and cordelius/buzz like charge zone)
And the super being compared to Gray's is also kinda dumb. Gray has supportive uses in hot zone and other gamemodes while Lily's is just an almost guaranteed 1 kill which you can't even chain like Fang's. I don't really like her at all but I wouldn't call it a mix of those 2
She should be epic. She's like a cheap version of Fang+Gray. No offense to those who like her but she can probably be one of the most forgotten brawlers

Rare and super rare brawlers are way too easy to get, ( especially since Starr Road and brawl pass changes ) so they would get absolutely no money out of them. Dont expect a new brawler to be released in one of these 2 rarities ever again unless they higher the price of brawlers in there
In the early days of brawl stars getting a super rare was like a top tier accomplishment since you could only get brawlers through boxes or gems, but now, its just too easy

He attaches to his teammates which heals them and he throws yarn balls which deal 4000 damage or he jumps on the enemy and deals his attack and deals 250 for few seconds which stuns the enemy brawler and then he uses his main attack to defeat the brawler
I don’t know why people are comparing her to Cord and Fang. But she’s practically identical to Buzz.
Short ranged attack. Super throws out a projectile that when it hits a brawler takes you to them. They even have the same trait of charging their super when enemies are nearby. The only big difference is the absence of a stun in Lilly’s super, and the teleportation effect for Lilly doesn’t make a big enough difference since Buzz’s super already guaranteed that it would hook onto a brawler and could take Buzz through walls.
I think in concept it’s a cool idea but nothing really stands out and her design is all over the place a bit but overall feels kinda… basic.

I'm just gonna say this: otis was universally hated when he came out for how basic he was, now he's a fan favourite, almost the same with pearl, and I think this is also gonna be the case with lily
very similar to Yone from League of Legends, although Yone's blink takes a little time to charge instead of it being a projectile. The blink behind is the most standard type of ability an assassin can have, but I wouldn't say its boring
Im pretty sure she has some sort of backstab mechanic, and not just cuz of her title 💀. Obviously her super teleports her behind enemies which is enough of a hint already but in the brawl talk video you can see her doing 2200 damage with her attack normally but she does 3600 right after she uses her ult, so either the next attack after her ult does additional damage or she has a backstab mechanic
She is essentially Spy TF2, minus being unable to kill people instantly upon a backstab (however she deals more damage with their back turned, mayhaps a starpower or smth) and having a teleportation button, because that's fair and balanced ig.
While interesting, shes going to be either underwhelming, or have busted starpowers/gadgets. her base kit is pretty dogshit. Her dps is underwhelming, she doesn't have much burst, and her moblity is limited. Shes basiclly a worse grey based on the brawl talk.

They just take old brawler's attacks and supers and mix and match them in order to create new brawlers. Angelo was a mix of Hank's charging mechanic + piper. Melodie is just fangs super 3 times in a row. Lily is as someone else said just fang and Draco is basically fang with damage mechanic like piper and has ambers attack for his super basically.

Doesn't matter, there still will be a chunk of fanbase with backstabber title less than 5 days after her release
Also Fang could be nerfed to make Lily more appealing instead of him, by making him stun himself for 1-1,5 seconds when using super into a wall
Also if he gets knockbacked during super, it counts as wall hit, and he gets stunned
Fresh Kicks reworked - next super deals +20% dmg if gained and used in less than 4 seconds
Divine Soles reworked now give him immunity to knockback when he's using super and he doesn't get stunned by hitting a wall

They just take old brawler's attacks and supers and mix and match them in order to create new brawlers. Angelo was a mix of Hank's charging mechanic + piper. Melodie is just fangs super 3 times in a row. Lily is as someone else said just fang and Draco is basically fang with damage mechanic like piper and has ambers attack for his super basically.

Doesn't matter, there still will be a chunk of fanbase with backstabber title less than 5 days after her release Also Fang could be nerfed to make Lily more appealing instead of him, by making him stun himself for 1-1,5 seconds when using super into a wall Also if he gets knockbacked during super, it counts as wall hit, and he gets stunned Fresh Kicks reworked - next super deals +20% dmg if gained and used in less than 4 seconds Divine Soles reworked now give him immunity to knockback when he's using super and he doesn't get stunned by hitting a wall

Im curious to see all the brawler interactions Like say if you teleported to a gray that also... teleported Will you go with him or not Basically is it like buzz, Once you hit you are guaranteed to hit or like squacks attacks *unless you are hindered or they escape/cleanse* And also stuff like Stuns, Hinders like pushbacks and other stuff like freezing how will that work And also silencing and ammo stealing Is ammo stealing gonna even work properly with 1 ammo brawlers? We only have ones with slow/medium reloads
