Mico, edgar, surge, mortis (anything that can get close to her fast) although most assasins are pretty easy to counter in some way but they are often good 6th picks. She also gets countered on hotzone maps like ring of fire by high damage with longer range than her like lola, meg, belle.
Saying that Emz only shines in few maps is really brave from you. He is really a really solid, strong pick and countered pretty much only by long range snipers in open maps and assassins that can jump on and delete her.
Yes exactly you basically wrote yourself that she is good on midrange maps. Bad against closerange assasins which shines on long range and closerange maps and bad against long range brawlers who shines on long range maps. You can get her to work on most maps in trophies but in competitive she only gets used on around 10 maps in total.
Aiming while running fast is kinda hard to do (as a max enjoyer I can definitely understand) because when non tanky brawlers get the stat buffs they always have SPD + ATK
You practically have to be point blank to hit the shots while running at that speed (I also play belle at it's hard when you're running at Mach 2 as an old gangster granny)
Max has the speed of super fast and her super increases her speed more. Piper has a normal movement speed and she doesn't have any other way for speed boost. Angelo might actually have a problem.
They are either gonna turn it into a heist nightmare, or add bombs on both sides, something like that. Or bombs might stun ennemies because she totally needs more buffs
Since hypercharges and the level gap increase increase were pretty new during that time, the meta was completely dominated by unbalanced hypercharges and high damage brawlers.
I wouldn't pulverize Piper, but just reduce her damage because it's just to much(how can she two shots most snipers with shield gear, but the others can only three shots her.)
I would reduce her damage to 1000 at max range with 350 recoil damage. Her super’s grenades explode before she jumps, killing her instantly. And if you try to use her gadget your account is instantly banned for 3 days.

Many people saying that Piper Hc won't be that good... But remember... Stat buffs alone singlehandedly makes an Hc worth it.... If we consider piper as a marksman... She would get 25% DMG buff ( like belle ) soo she would be doing 4250 DMG per shot... Combine it with high mobility ( speed buff ) and homemade recipe and this might actually make piper Really OP.

Some brawlers are currently in the meta. The meta changes, it's inevitable that sometimes brawlers who are good without their hypercharge will also have a hypercharge, and this will only become more and more common as hypercharges are introduced - just as it becomes more and more common that brawlers who aren't meta will also have hypercharges.
Also, there are some brawlers in the game who counter tanks, and some brawlers in the game who are tanks. Sometimes tank counters get hypercharges. Sometimes tanks get hypercharges.
I would say that the overall matchup spread for tanks isn't changing because every brawler is getting a hypercharge and it balances out, but that's not true, actually - tanks benefit overall from hypercharges. The stat boots inherently mesh better with a tank or assassin's kit better than they mesh with sniper/support/tankbuster kits.
And, the best part? If Piper or Angelo wind up overpowered by virtue of already being good without a hypercharge and then getting one, there's a thing called nerfs that can happen.

They literally cut Angelo's super in half in one change, how is that "but they haven't [done a thing called nerfs]"? Literally the biggest super nerf in one go *ever*, sure he's still too strong but they'll obviously nerf him again soon.
They generally avoid hanking popular brawlers which is why Piper has gotten slapped on the wrist, but she gets a slap on the wrist every month or two and eventually her wrists won't be too strong anymore. Already Piper is only particularly good on a few maps, I see her maybe one match in ten in masters (she's available and not banned for most of those matches).

Why are you guys going apeshit? First of all, we haven't seen any balance changes, we don't know how strong Angelo or anyone else here will be. Secondly, it was never about giving weak brawlers hypercharges. It was always random brawlers, including the already strong brawlers. ALWAYS. So why do we keep expecting anything but that? Third, a million other tank counters have got an hypercharge yet tanks are not "dead". Are we just going to ignore that Angelo, Piper and Barley aren't the best againsts tanks anyways?

Piper drops bombs where she lands too
Emz super has more slow and damage the closer you get to the center
Barley's bottles poison people, like willows main
Frank cant be stunned while supering, his super is way faster, has bigger range and goes through unbreakable walls.
Angelo's poison effect stays on for 3 seconds when he leaves his super
Gale's super is even bigger and longer and adds his normal super damage for each enemy hit
Every brawler on here will be broken and get nerfed (hopefully) except for Frank if his rework is buns. If his rework is good all of these will be broken. Please don’t Supercell. Hypercharge Bea or something.

In fairness, those Brawl Talk hypercharges were being shown in an update where said hypercharges were not coming. This proves that they have some hypercharges ready (or at least some work done on them) in advance, which they're not releasing in favor of always doing 6 at once.
There's a good chance that they intentionally teased these 6 and that these 6 are the ones that are coming this next update, but keep in mind that it's equally possible that some of these are coming in a later update rather than this one - every brawler is getting a hyper eventually.

I think it’s just the images they chose, but I believe they all had their hyper charges shown. You can definitely see pipers but I’m almost positive there were other images that showed these brawlers with the hyper charge below them
Piper and Angelo better not have their HC rates at 1.66 Supers or lower otherwise we’re looking at alot of bonus damage throughout the match even if it’s just 5%

Gale doesn't get much used though and has low damage. Emz only has a few maps were she really shines and there is lots of hardcounters to her.
