In the capital of Minas Gerais, Belo Horizonte, the 45th edition of the Arraial is scheduled to take place on July 20th, 21st, 27th, and 28th. The celebration will be held at Mineirinho, located in the Pampulha region, in contrast to the usual venue at Praça da Estação. If want good Festas Juninas here in Minas, go to the countryside, like Lapinha da Serra or Tabuleiro. Serra do Cipó and Ouro Preto are good too, but the first ones I mentioned were the best ones that I attended to. I'm planning to go to Tabuleiro this year. The party is mostly at night, but, during the way, you can go to the beautiful waterfalls round the towns. Have a nice trip!
Hi, the june festivities are often from the catholic church, you can go whenever you want, just find a local church and ask abou the "barraquinhas" / "little tents", maybe the dancing presentations will need a ticket but I never saw anything like that, but I don't live in Minas Gerais
The club parties which are thematic often need tickets, but you can just keep an eye on the events, they are often being posted on social media
