I don't mind the ones where it's like, "Hey guys, [team] fan here - can you explain something about a specific of the dynamics of your team that an outsider might not inherently understand?"
But other than that, the "I come in peace" posts are almost always stupid.
I've done it before, but only to teams I have history with like the 49ers my first super bowl I can remember watching was the 49ers Chargers ass whooping and Joe Montana and Jerry Rice are a big reason I got into football. Same with the Eagles, Randall Cunningham was my favorite player to watch as a little kid
Edit: to the bottom I go, apparently someone shit in r/browns cereal this morning
How about the douchey 49ers fan that had to make a post about commenting in the post game thread saying “good game you guys played well”.... da fook outta here!!!
Especially fans of the winning team who come in to say how "scary" your team is and how they're going to make it and how they're rooting for you now they aren't playing you again.
If you are a fan of the winning team, just stay the fuck out of the losing team's subreddit. No matter how nice you seem to be you're just going to come off as a patronizing asshat.
I just hate how you guys think the browns are Gina turn it around lmao where’s all your dance moves baker ??? Where’s the feeling dangerous 4tds to 8 interceptions rolls to the right constantly he spent all offseason doing commercials and eating he came in outta shape this year and it shows
I grew up in Baltimore without a team of my own, and my family were from Ohio so we followed the Browns. I grew up a Browns fan.
When the Ravens showed up, hometown pride took first chair and I became a Ravens fan, but one who still loves the Browns.
I have DirectTV with NFL Sunday Ticket so I can watch both teams.
I shouldn't have to wave a white flag to post in either sub, and I shouldn't have to choose one over the other.
I honestly hate the whole "blank fan here coming in peace" just say what you wanna say no need for that cringey shit

Not sure which sub it is, but one of them has a post flair of "cOmInG iN PeAcE" which I love

Yeah that's all you need to say. ____ fan here. done
Don't say coming in peace just say: hawks fan, how's your qb containment? Is all you need
Exactly.
I hate the whole “other team’s fan posting on sub to say nice things”, the whole thing just seems like ass kissing karma whoring to me.
Bills fan here. I downvote those mf-ers into oblivion.

It's fine to just say _____ fan here. nothing more needed though
Browns fan here. Go Browns.
\*woooooosh\*
Yep, that’s a r/whoosh

Didn't ask
I know you didn't, you had nothing to do with the comment chain
Let me correct myself: Nobody asked
Ok, good job dude. Glad you enjoy being a douche bag
People are allowed to like more than one team, bro.
Clearly not what they’re talking about
On a site full of goobers doing and saying goober shit it’s definitely one of the gooberest
Cringe is the right word for it.
I’m a patriots fan myself but I follow most teams subreddits the whole “come in peace” shit is so dumb. We’re all football fans this isn’t a war zone.
“Hey man! Brown’s fan here coming in peace to let you know the Patriots are good! Good luck in the playoffs!”
We get to play you soon! I’m actually mad excited for that game! Pretty much all of my favourite players on the field at once.
Yeah I hope it’s a good game, I think Bill is going to draw up some schemes to throw off Baker. Should be a good challenge for both teams.

They should just put a flair on and be done with it.
oh yes, so cringey and cheesy. I say this anytime I come across one
[Here’s](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HfiplzrgiTw ) how you deal with them

We have a filter on r/Buccaneers that automatically removes posts like that. We’re fans. We’re not team representatives. It’s super cringe.

As always... perfection...
Ooooh do one from the scene where Robin Williams hits him in the head with the orange/lemon/lime/whatever!!!! Drive by fruiting!!!

I despise those I come in peace posts, so fuckin cheesy
This seems like a safe place for me to observe that a certain QB from Maryland is throwing like shit.
Same tbh.

God it's so lame, just post your shit
Was expecting the scene with Dr Okun from Independence Day.
The one where you drop your pants and get railed by the aliens?
Ravens fan coming in peace! Y'all are gonna leave in pieces...
This is awesome haha

Browns fan here coming in peace. How was that, any better?
