What if it was a fatal accident where the road is closed for hours? Not sure what the difference would be as something beyond your control. Either way the call to work is I’m stuck in traffic and the road is closed I’ll get there as soon as I can. At which point , you can join the protest, find out more about the protest, stream a movie on your phone.

Peaceful, non-disruptive protesting has historically proved ineffective. The suffragettes didn't win the vote by asking nicely, they committed arsons and terror bombings. Gandhi, Malcolm X, and MLK's words would've meant nothing if not backed by the armed resistance of groups like Azad Hind, the Nation of Islam, and the Black Panthers. LGBT rights wouldn't even be a thing right now without Stonewall. And the only reason we have 40 hour work weeks and a minimum wage is because the socialists/communists dragged their bosses out of their homes and forced them to comply with employee demands for better hours and wages. (Note: the above paragraph is NOT a defense for the Nazi and Imperial Japanese collaboration of Azad Hind or the racist pseudohistory and bigotry of the NOI. I'm simply acknowledging these controversial groups' genuine contributions to their respective movements.) When Prince John started being a shithead, his own people forced him at swordpoint to sign the Magna Carta. When the Americans got sick of being mistreated by the English, the former revolted. When the Haitians had enough of being enslaved, they rose up against their masters. When the French grew tired of the nobility/aristocracy being so out-of-touch with the peasantry, heads literally rolled. When the Russians, Chinese, Iranians, etc., decided their respective regimes (the Romanovs, Chiang Kai-shek, the Shah) were too corrupt, they overthrew their entire respective governments. Etc. Passive resistance, peaceful protests, boycotting, etc. These nonviolent methods aren't entirely useless and have their time and place. But yeah, violence sometimes (oftentimes, really) IS the answer, and I'm tired of us pretending it isn't. I got banned from r/inthenews for "advocating violence" when I brought this all up. IMO, I wasn't advocating violence, I was advocating for people to be more realistic about the general ineffectiveness of pacifism in the face of oppression. Even Gandhi admitted his methods wouldn't have worked for the Jews against the Nazis, that Hitler was a VERY different beast compared with the British. If anything, I advocate having the wisdom to know the difference between senseless bloodlust and self-defense. "He who uses violence as his first resort shall eventually meet someone who will use violence as their last resort."

There is a tool you can buy in most auto parts stores that is designed to remove the valve in a tire stem. Get it and use in on him. With all tires flat and unable to be filled it will cost him a lot of money to fix it. Also write on the glass above the sticker "I protest!".

You can take a piece of ceramic, like broken from a spark plug or a hard ceramic earthenware, it's so much harder than even tempered glass. If it accidentally makes contact with tempered glass with even a moderate amount of force or a firm toss it will pierce the outer tempering which is under tension and easily shatter a window. If you've ever seen car thieves walk up to a window with something on a string and just easily swing it and the window pops it's usually a spark plug. So be careful when taking pictures this close to glass that you don't have any ceramic around that could accidentally fall into it and as always stay straight and don't do crimes fellow kids. I don't want you to get in any trouble.

I don't necessarily agree with him, but he's not entirely wrong. It's an objectively dumb way to protest. It endangers both the protesters and bystanders. Furthermore, I've seen dozens of videos of people protesting in the road. I have no idea what any of them were mad about. I just don't see how blocking roads and interrupting random peoples' daily lives would get people to join a cause.
