If you can go try out the guns before you buy. I was really wanting a hellcat/hellcat pro but went to a range in Michigan during the holidays to try out all the new roster additions and ended up shooting horribly with the hellcats. Turns out I shot best with the P365 and the Ruger Max-9 so I ended up buying the Max-9 when I got home.
The only real downsides are that you should get the trigger shoe replaced (40$) and it's not optics ready. There are companies starting to do slide cuts though. They shoot great and cost half as much(sometimes less) as a 365 if you get them on sale.
It’s a redundant release from a company trying to get their skin into the micro compact game. The gun offers no innovation to the current market with no optic cut as well. The only reason why we are hearing people talk about it is because they ran out and panic bought it due to Ruger beating the 365 and hellcat to the California market. You won’t find one person relevant to the industry in 2023 or the future running a Ruger Max 9 as a CCW. Sorry mate.
Lol so you hold it against Ruger for entering a growing sector of the firearms market? Darn companies trying to make money!! Personally I think their price point gives them a well deserved place in the market. People who can't afford a hellcat or p365 have a solid option to be able to defend themselves with which is a great thing for them and grows our community. The fact that it isn't bleeding edge doesn't mean it's irrelevant, especially if it's what you can afford and it's what's in your hand when you have to defend yourself. The only people who care so much about what someone else(industry people etc)runs to the point of shitting on a solid budget option like this are their shills.
Yea I agree with you that their price point is good so they do get one point there. I only blame them for the lack of innovation. In todays competitive market you can’t release anything other than cutting edge. In two years time the Max 9 will me completely forgotten about and most likely discontinued in five years. R&D department over at Ruger is lazy.
Yea, they're probably a bit lazier lol. That being said I disagree with the rest. This is CA and anyone who says they can predict what's gonna happen with the firearms industry likely has zero idea.
You can disagree with me all you want but I’m spitting facts not opinion. All of my local gun shops can’t sell the Max-9 after the initial wave. No demand, the product is a flop and will be discontinued.
Bitchin gun 2k + rounds never jammed. The day I bought it I ran it dry out the box 300 rounds no problems. I also used and handled the p365 “before all the modules came out” and never liked the feel of the gun or the slide release just my 2¢
My wife shoots her Hellcat better than my P365. I shoot my P365 better than I shoot her Hellcat. Hellcat trigger feels nicer during dry firing, but not as nice while actually shooting it. Hellcat came with optic cut. And we live in a free state, so the extra round in the Hellcat is nice.
I’ve heard of a lot of people that carry them everyday…like 365 days a year

I'm slow ... Just realized why they designated the model number 👍
But what of the P320? and P226?
Not edc apparently.
🤣🤣🤣
I’ve seen more YouTubers say hellcats are snappier than 365s.
I'm only here to mention the 365. I carry and have carried the standard hellcat for a year.
How was it?
Probably carries like the 365
Ruger max 9 all day
That's what I was looking into before they announced the new additions to the roster

Friends don’t let friends carry the Ruger max 9. Just no.
Do you have a real reason or are you just talking out of your bootyhole?
It’s a subpar option in 2023.
That's just your opinion again, not a reason for that opinion. Why is it sub par?

Why do people keep asking this question? The answer is get them all.
1. Once a month so fuck us 2. If I had bread to buy any/all gats I wanted it definitely wouldn't be all macros
Ffl03/coe made my wallet cry this year
I feel you.
Of course not, but getting a 365 and a hellcat pro seems like the best choice for ccw options.
Back up gat, my carry is already G19
Oooh, feisty
AR pistol. Never falls below the belt.

Snappy. Not a range gun. Very good sights. Perfect CCW gun or backup for a LEO. Very large hands need not apply.
Shield Plus is the way.

Can't comment on the hellcat only that I bought a bunch of shit for it aleeady
Get the pro. The smaller version sucksss

I already have the 320 but looking specifically for a macro gat
