I see what you mean. Idk if that's enough indicator that loadouts are back but it's a pretty good suggestion.
You can use bundle weapons with Blueprints and skins without loadouts so nothing about loadouts specifically sells bundles.
...So we have no idea if loadouts will be back. They probably will, but we just don't know yet.
Hopefully they release some more Z info soon. They said "coming weeks" not months so maybe we'll get something before August.
Even in BO3 I only spun the box for the WW, wall buys were the way to go. For CW I only spun the box for the WW. I prefer loadouts so I can level a gun I'm working on for the entire game.
I'm in the same boat. I think re-balancing base tier weapons to give those who want that early round difficulty and old style progression the option to play like that would be the right move. But, I'd feel no loss w/o personally.

If you're that against spawning in with whatever weapon you wish, then just pick a barebones pistol to spawn in with, literally no one is forcing people to pick these other weapons
People use this argument all the time with different games. I’m not going to artificially gimp myself and I’m going to use everything the game gives me to succeed. If that makes it too easy and there’s no difficulty option then that’s the games problem, not mine.
Then the solution is... go play the older games instead of complaining about Cold War because you don't wanna "Gimp" yourself.
The old games weren't that difficult either as long as you knew what you were doing, and I've played enough Cold War public games that I can tell you there are Plenty of people that are absolute shit at Cold War zombies so the difficulty is subjective. I've always been good at zombies so they've all felt easy to me, so I don't get what everyone's crying about

You know you could always just start with a pistol and keep it barebones, i do it on Cold War all the time.

personally enjoy loadouts better, makes every gun feel useful as every single gun can be turned into a powerhouse weapon
