On the other hand, I was mad nervous for our December performance review… it’s a tough life being at the bottom of the barrel. But if it was easy everyone would do it!
Oh yeah I do, I go to work feeling the least qualified out of my starting class. So far I passed BEC on the first try with a perfect score of 75 and still waiting on my FAR results… but hey as long as we got our degree and pass the exams, I think learning on the job takes care of the rest!
The first year I read through every section and outlined my notes for each section. Then I started on the test, taking 30-50 days for each section over 7 months.
Bisk CPA review on youtube was amazing
Thank you! I've been trying to figure out how to begin, since it's been many years since life intervened. Currently an EA working as a 1040 tax jockey with no hope of working in audit, so I'll have to learn/relearn everything else. I so appreciate your study experience and recommendations.
I am actually curious about this strategy as well. Since every section is so niche and has so many content, wouldn’t you just forget like 50% of the prior stuff by the time you move on to the other sections? But I guess that if you do have detailed notes on every section, it will be fine for you to just review the notes then. Congratulations to you as well!! 🥳
Academically I was in the same boat!
Not sure if you feel the same way, but some days I am still in disbelief I was able to graduate and even passing more than 1 section of CPA exam 😅

Could you elaborate on your strategy? It sounds like you studied for all parts, then narrowed your focus for each one.
