I like it a lot. It’s such a gem of an engine. Smooth and quiet at cruising speeds and has a nice sound when you floor it. Too bad it’s been paired to a transmission that likes to gear hunt often and can’t quite put all of its power down.
True true. But a lot of these newer hybrids are getting a lot better which means you get good torque off the line resulting in a car that is almost as fast as the V6 or even faster with the 8 speed auto.
I had a ‘98 V6 Camry out of high school. As smooth as butter but I got like 20 MPG. Switched to a Prius Plug-In and I got like 57 MPG on average and summer time in the low 60’s. Sold it and went to a puny 2.0 liter Mazda3 and I have to baby it enough to get 28 MPG combined.
I was thinking the same thing. The press photos I just could not see past the grill, but with this it almost looks like it needs to be that way. Also I immediately think of sea world when I see this,😅
This. Nice to see your car, but the price is what I'm curious about. We may never get an answer. I'm go off a limb and say after taxes and fees and without calculating trade-in, it was probably about 38k+ without knowing if there were additional addons and packages.
Yeah it was MSRP XSE with the panoramic roof package and some other bits and pieces that brought it up to 39k. The price of the different packages and trims is all available on the toyota website, which is why I didn't really answer. Especially because taxes and interest rate are going to be different for different people. I most certainly could've gone way cheaper, but I splurged a bit because I expect to keep this car for 10-15+ years.
Nice color. Please keep us updated on the front end paint after you’ve put some miles on it. I’m curious to know if 2025 is the year Toyota improves it.
May I ask how much you paid MSRP ? I’m getting the same on Jun 3 and I don’t want to get over charged 😅. I’m getting the XSE standard no extra package. Apparently ppl told me not to get panaromic roof due to costing a lot to fix/issues ect. Ps. Interior pics 😜
Mine was 39k, it came with the panoramic roof and some other add-ons that I wanted, which drove the price up. 39k is before taxes, as taxes are gonna be different state by state.
This will be my first expensive XSE hybrid Camry all have been SE. I’m just concerned about the issues that panoramic roof has on other models even other brand cars about leakage or replacing the whole roof top to replace the glass. That’s the exact price aswell 39k but idk what packages they offer just don’t want to get ripped off 😅 or get unnecessary stuff. Like there’s a (tech coverage) is that worth it? Well I have till Jun 5 to decide mines on its way but with no roof top, but that panoramic I love 😅. Congrats 🍾 on ur new car 🚙
They should send you a spec sheet that has all the add-ons/packages and their associated prices. That way you know where the costs are coming from and then when you go to get it the OTD price will have the taxes and other things broken down to see exactly where the money is going. So just look carefully! Yeah the roof is always a concern, but I honestly don't open the actual roof frequently at all. Just the cover, so I'm hoping that will reduce the chances of degradation.
Mine is getting replaced as we speak to the tune or $12688.00 (2020 xse) I encourage you all to ad mechanical breakdown insurance to your insurance policies
GORGEOUS!!!
Ocean Gem, right?
Use it in good health.
My 2006 Solara was totaled a month ago (not my fault). Husband is looking at a Toyota Crown Signia, out later this year. While a first-year to the US, its insides are identical to a Crown, which has been in the US for three years.
That style reminds me of my ‘17 Camry SE. or at least the front grill reminds me of mine. I would much rather have the previous gen’s front grill and stock body kit than the new ones but I am super happy for ya. I bet you’re stoked!
Yeah. I bet! 😉 congrats! The next milestone is when the car is fully paid for. I was stoked when I got my ‘17 Camry SE and even more stoked when I paid it off a few years ago. I plan to drive this Camry into the ground. No more payments for me. It’s like saving $305/month every month to spend on other things. Cross my fingers I don’t wreck it! lol.
You can never go wrong with a Camry. I only have 42000 miles on mine and I haven’t had to repair anything outside of the brakes and tires but that’s it. I had a 2008 MINI Cooper s manual with the turbo and it was in the shop every month after the lousy 3yr warranty. I had to spend $1k plus every month and my car note was $600+per month. I got so fed up I traded it in for a 2013 Camry se in white and then hit a buck and totaled the car and bought a ‘17 in 2016. I’ve been driving the same car since but I no longer go auto cross so that may be why it’s lasted longer. I also don’t care how fast they go and I’m used to only have 180hp. lol. Enjoy your new ride.
I appreciate it! Honestly on the power side of things in eco it is pretty slow, but there is a huge difference when in sport mode. So I'm completely happy with it. I almost always keep it in eco, but when I'm in an area that I know some extra juice helps its nice to know I have it available. Zero complaints. I wish I could have upgraded earlier, but I was being responsible 🙄😂.
That’s the most important thing is you being responsible in buying the car because you won’t enjoy it as much if you bought it recklessly but I’ve done that before. My mcs not was over $600 and my car insurance was $500 because I had some bad speeding tickets. Good thing I lived at home at that time. When I bought this Camry my payments were $305/month and my car insurance was less than $100/month. Since then I got married with my wife 11yrs and I have no points on my record and we pay $144/month for my ‘17 Camry SE and her ‘15 Corolla Le. Both bought brand new and both are paid in full! Can’t beat that! 😉👏👏👏
I absolutely love that all the car companies that make great economy cars are not letting that mean they have to be bland and basic. I love the economy cars that look like entry level sport cars. Obv, they shouldn't have all the same design choices, but yall probably understand what I'm saying.
My god the Camery hasn't looked this good ever. I just wish it was a hot hatch because I been looking at the Intergra just because of that. This new Cam is making me want to think twice. Smh
Yeah I feel in love with this color immediately. Looks great, definitely curious to see if they bring back the TRD next year and what it will look like. I won't be swapping, but that's just cause I wanted a hybrid for the MPG lol.
Nice they are great cars too and that color is amazing. We bought a 2023 Camry Hybrid XLE and love it, The cars are so stylish these days and reliable as always. What engine does yours have ?
Also check out AMD the CarCareNut in YouTube for all things Toyota and some great advice. The guy knows his stuff and I say that having wrenched my own cars for almost 50 years. Shit I am old when I think of it ! LOL
It has the same engine as the last generation, but only the hybrid is available. That's part of the reason I was comfortable getting the first run of a new generation.
So AMD has some great vids that explain how the hybrid systems and associated engines work. He covers it in detail if interested but explains so it is clear to all in my opinion.
The gas engine has no starter, no alternator, no belts, two cooling systems, two fuel injection systems, etc.
Quite a sophisticated drivetrain and a great car for sure.
Looks awesome! IRL, does it look more blue, or greenish? It looks more blue in your pic, but I have seen some others where it looks more green. I am watching for an XLE to hit dealers in this color.
I've been preparing for buying a car for awhile, so I had a large down payment set aside. My case is probably not a good indicator for what other's may be.
Mechanically, there is pretty much no difference from my understanding. Except they only have the hybrid now. Other than that, I think the main difference is the new design and modernized interior.
Alright, the refresh looks good on this color. That’s great looking. Wasn’t to sure about the refresh. But seeing this color, might’ve changed my mind!
I don't disagree, but honestly I have liked the newer sonatas and Hyundais in general. So I get something I like the style of and the toyota reliability. Win-win to me.
In my opinion, purchased way too early. The single engine option means Toyota is setting up for similarly categorized models/submodels that might compete with the Camry. If you waited a year, you’d have way more options
I am upgrading from a 13 year old vehicle that is known to not be nearly as reliable as a Toyota. Besides, I got exactly what I wanted. One in the hand is better than two in the bush 🤷♂️.
That ocean gem color looks really nice! Congrats on the upgrade!
Off topic but how do you like your V6?
I like it a lot. It’s such a gem of an engine. Smooth and quiet at cruising speeds and has a nice sound when you floor it. Too bad it’s been paired to a transmission that likes to gear hunt often and can’t quite put all of its power down.
First full week driving mine and yeah transmission is goofy but things gorgeous, powerful good mpg
I like mine, the 2024 V6 Camry xse. Only con is the mileage
What your consumption? Is it so bad?
Mine is as good as my 2009 LE 4 cyl. I consider that a win for 2 extra cylinders and double the horsepower.
I mean I average 22 driving hard so I can't complain, lots of fun. But when you start comparing to hybrids is when I get depressed lol
Lool! I mean it’s hard to resist the fun from a v6 powered engine. Hybrids are only good for the mpg, nothing really exciting about them.
Good gravy that color is *so* gorgeous
I hope it comes to the other 2025s.. I'd like to see a rav in that.
It reminds me of the Lysol ocean mist, smells good too
Grille doesn’t look bad here at all actually. Mind sharing some more flicks? Congrats!
Yeah I agree it looks a lot better in real life compared to the press photos
Looks like a Kia, stop.
I was thinking the same thing. The press photos I just could not see past the grill, but with this it almost looks like it needs to be that way. Also I immediately think of sea world when I see this,😅
Damn, that color is siiiiick!! Awesome score!
Interior pictures!!!
Beautiful
I love this color! What do they call it? I'm happy to see more blue and green colors join the mix lately, especially blue/green!
Ocean gem! It's the exact type of color I love on a car.
Wheels are nice
Beauty
SWEET
I don’t care what anyone thinks of the front end. I like it
Agreed!
Looks nice. Did you pay quite a bit over the MSRP? Or was your dealer a good dealer?
I got it for MSRP, and they gave me a fantastic value on my trade-in. So I'm happy enough with it.
Oh man, I wish we have one of those dealers in SoCal…
Toyota plant right there in ONT, just go knock on their door, tell them you want to have a conversation...
What tradein and value if u don't mind me asking?
This. Nice to see your car, but the price is what I'm curious about. We may never get an answer. I'm go off a limb and say after taxes and fees and without calculating trade-in, it was probably about 38k+ without knowing if there were additional addons and packages.

2012 Ford fusion, 4k.
# of miles and trim? If u don't mind me asking
100k, sel.
Just sold my mom's 2011 ford fusion SE for $7k privately in Georgia. Had 110k miles and was only listed for 5 hours on FB marketplace.
Private sales always make the most, so that makes sense. Area also matters.
Nice color. Please keep us updated on the front end paint after you’ve put some miles on it. I’m curious to know if 2025 is the year Toyota improves it.
Yeah that's a concern of mine, so I'll be getting ppf.

She is BEAUTIFUL! The color, the body — everything! Here’s to many, many miles together! 🥺🩵
Good dealer when they sell at MSRP and no mark up.
The blue RULES!
Huge fan of the blue. When I saw that color coming out, I knew I wasn't gonna get a different color.
In my opinion, the best looking brand new Camry since the 2002 model. Beautiful car in a great color, like the ocean. Nice pickup!
How much OTD?
I would also like to know this.
Was 39k pre taxes. So depends on your state. I got the panoramic roof and some other tid bits.
Damn already 🥹
I was watching my closest dealerships for a few weeks for the exact one I wanted!
Sweet. Wish I could get one that colour. They blocked every trim but xle up here in Canada
Is this XSE or SE?
Xse
GORGEOUS!!! Ocean Gem, right? Use it in good health. My 2006 Solara was totaled a month ago (not my fault). Husband is looking at a Toyota Crown Signia, out later this year. While a first-year to the US, its insides are identical to a Crown, which has been in the US for three years.
Ocean gem indeed, love the color.
It's perfect! If we get a Signia, I want to see how it looks in "Bronze Age."
That is a very cool color. Congrats!
I'm jealous. I reserved an XSE back on like April 17th. And they expected it to arrive by now. But it's been delayed =(
That sucks! Hopefully it gets there soon. I only had to wait two weeks and thag felt like forever.
Sharp car. I know ppl don’t like the new front look but I think I may depend on the color. Solid!
I agree that it depends on the color.
CONGRATS!!! THE FIRST PERSON!!
Well, I know what color I want my next car to be. That looks so nice.
That style reminds me of my ‘17 Camry SE. or at least the front grill reminds me of mine. I would much rather have the previous gen’s front grill and stock body kit than the new ones but I am super happy for ya. I bet you’re stoked!
I am! My first new car purchase and upgrading from a 13 year old car. The difference is astounding.
Yeah. I bet! 😉 congrats! The next milestone is when the car is fully paid for. I was stoked when I got my ‘17 Camry SE and even more stoked when I paid it off a few years ago. I plan to drive this Camry into the ground. No more payments for me. It’s like saving $305/month every month to spend on other things. Cross my fingers I don’t wreck it! lol.
Exactly how I feel! Yep I'm planning on keeping it until I've gotten all my money's worth and more!

sharp looking ride mate 👏
I hate these new models 😭😭😭 but the color is nice tho! Congrats on the new pick!
![gif](giphy|1URYTNvDM2LJoMIdxE|downsized)
I see you got the xse. Congrats enjoy your new car!
Giving nissan altima vibes I had a nissan altima and then a 2012 carry SE
Color looks nice brother. Let me get your wheels
Congratulations! What did you eat at Chili’s?
And here I thought I cropped it well enough to be generic lmao. It was the home depot, that gave it away, huh?
You can see the reflection of the sign on the hood
Ahhhh too true.
My god the Camery hasn't looked this good ever. I just wish it was a hot hatch because I been looking at the Intergra just because of that. This new Cam is making me want to think twice. Smh
Congratulations!!! Looks beautiful enjoy it!
Love the color! 🔵🔷🟦💙 Congratulations!
Can't wait to start seeing these 4 bangers riced out to the max in the wild.
Congrats. I have a ‘23 Camry TRD, but Toyota’s colors are something else lol.
Yeah I feel in love with this color immediately. Looks great, definitely curious to see if they bring back the TRD next year and what it will look like. I won't be swapping, but that's just cause I wanted a hybrid for the MPG lol.

Depends on the sun a little, but mostly more blue.
How much did you pay?
39k before taxes. No markup.
What trim ?
XSE
mind sharing a photo from front? awesome car and congrats!
Very nice
Like the color
What trim? Wondering if the sound proofed glass has improved highway noise?
XSE, and yeah I would say it is pretty quiet. I am coming from a 13 year old vehicle, though, so the difference is probably bigger to me.
Nice, congrats
slick
Nice af
Just saw my first 2025 on the road in my city today, and I must say it looks great.
Dang this looks sick
How much are you payments?
I've been preparing for buying a car for awhile, so I had a large down payment set aside. My case is probably not a good indicator for what other's may be.
Oh wow, I love this color! Nice looking car right there.
Awesome
I really like it a lot. I love my '23 SE Hybrid but I'm a little jealous 😃
I like it
But is it reliable?
It's mechanically almost identical to the previous generation, so should be.
Is there anything new w the 2025 vs previous years?
Mechanically, there is pretty much no difference from my understanding. Except they only have the hybrid now. Other than that, I think the main difference is the new design and modernized interior.
How’s the interior modernized?
I'm not sure specifically, but that is the consensus from reviews from my research when I was looking.
Not bad not bad.
Ohh that’s nice! Eye candy lol
Looks good! How much did it cost OTD?
Nice! Whatcha think?
Love it!
I’m expecting the to get one in supersonic red color this month
Same. Put a deposit down Monday. 2 weeks out.
nice
Is this LE?
XSE
Did you pay markup
Nope, wouldn't have purchased it if they tried to markup. I wasn't that desperate for a car, thankfully.
Lovely! How does it drive? :)
Like a dream. Feels great to drive, I was pleasantly surprised by the pick up and go it can have if it needs it.
Congrats! That looks great!
Whaaaat that don’t even look like a Camry 😍
Woah looks amazing
Fantastic color!
That shit fire. Color reminds me of a 90s color
Awesome color
car looks great
do you have the loud idle ticking fuel pump issue or did toyota finally fix it. it’s really freaking loud in drive throughs and garages.
I'm gonna go with that they fixed it. It is pretty much silent when idle and low speeds.
She’s a beauty!
Color looks nice on higher trims like this. Looks like trash on the LE lol. I’m considering an LE… what’s the best color?
Well I love the ocean gem color, but as you said you don't like it on the trime you're looking at haha. The red looks super nice too though.
That is gorgeous
Wow. Luv the color
Beautiful color. Congrats!
Wow... that's lovely
Cross between a hyundai and a prius, looks awful compared to my 24. Good for you if you like it though, some people think pugs are cute.
I love it, to be honest. I was gonna get a '24, but super glad I waited for the color I wanted.
I’ve got a 24 and have to say the 25 exterior looks better but is this se or LE?
Xse. I honestly like the exterior of both for different reasons. The 24s are super clean looking.
looks great - color suits it well
How much ch did they charge you and did you negotiate
Sexy. I really hope Toyota comes out with a performance version to replace the v6.
Damn that’s a sexy color
I got a 2025 on Monday the 6th I’m looking it so far.
I like underground, that color is amazing. Congrats
That color is beautiful
Alright, the refresh looks good on this color. That’s great looking. Wasn’t to sure about the refresh. But seeing this color, might’ve changed my mind!
Damn that's a nice color. If the grille was blacked out it'd be perfect
Cleanest Hyundai on the street
I honestly like how Hyundais look. So I get that and the toyota reliability 🤷♂️. Works for me.
Honda Accord
Wish these are little slimmer and tighter. Feel like it’s gets bigger every generation.
Sonata
I like the look of sonatas 🤷♂️.
Me too but I adore the 18-24 Camry
The fact is looks like a Hyundai is a major turn off.
I still don't get the "looks like a Hyundai ' chatter. It's the same Camry from the side profile, but with a once again Lexus-inspired front fascia.
It does not look like a Sonata. Neither '24 EV-style nor pre '23 catfish...
Stop being foolish!
It literally looks like a sonata with the emblem placement and all
I don't disagree, but honestly I have liked the newer sonatas and Hyundais in general. So I get something I like the style of and the toyota reliability. Win-win to me.
The same color bumper is aweful
I actually like it 🤷♂️, I did not like it at all on the white camry though.
Thought the same. Cool color, awful use case.
