I did 20% on the drivers and passenger and 15% on the rest. Didn’t do the windshield. Dont want to give a cop a reason to pull me over out here in cali

OCBound717

Where I live (PA) you’d probably have to do the windshield yourself because no professional will touch it. Obviously there is always an exception.

ShadowFlame1865

Oh okay yeah I’m in (DE) so I’ll see still working on trying to get a waiver as of right now

OCBound717

Delaware is probably more lenient than Pennsylvania, because PA is so backwards in so many ways. 🙄

SQL215

This isn’t entirely true. I got my full car tinted including windshield and I’m in PA. Philly area. Done by a local tint shop

Cheesy-Advice-8461

I did 15% all around and 50% on the windshield.

Edge2316

5% on back and 20% in front

ShadowFlame1865

I’m thinking about doing that still tryna figure out what I want for now

Chemical-Composer898

I did 20% all around except windshield. I did do a 6” strip on the windshield.

ZDAWG599

my buddy is doin it for me, 20% all around. i might do 30% on the driver and passenger side because i have trouble seeing at night 😂 and im not touching the front or back windscreens. im in PA and they love pulling people over for tint lol

faguil8

I’m in Chicago and have 5% back side windows and back windshield, 35% on front side windows and 40% ceramic on front windshield. No issues with CPD bc they don’t care but the suburb cops…

SQL215

I have the XSE V6 as opposed to the TRD and I went with 15% all around with 50% ceramic on windshield and 5% sunbar top of windshield. Looks really good.

Sufficient-Carrot726

I have an underground gray TRD 5% all around without the windshield, maybe a brow for the windshield? Personally don’t understand why go for 15-20% tint instead of 5

CGLADISH

On my '23 Camry TRD (Also Underground), I'm running 3? ceramic, 25% on the front sides, 5% on the rear sides and rear window. Here is what DMV - California allows: * **Windshield** allows transparent strip on top 4-5 inches. * **Front side windows** must pass through more than 70% of light inside your car (70% VLT). * **Back side windows and rear windshield** can have any darkness.

knowitsgi

5% all around & 35% on the windshield

Fancy-Ad-362

I did 20% all around and 35% windshield and I love it. Definitely can tell that it is tinted though, so if you don’t want a problem with cops 50% is the move

ShadowFlame1865

50% for the windshield?

General-Oil-1470

20 all around and 50 on the front and love it

Commandork167

Car looks best at 5% all around.

Shinnakuma

Im going to make a post about how much air I should breathe today.

thechadder128

Factory tint is usually ~20% on sides and back
