Time stamp to the relevant question? Edit: 13 minutes Edit: misleading title. JS skirts around the question twice, despite being reminded he hasn't answered the audience member's question. He said an ANC-EFF government makes it harder for a referendum to happen because they will kill any attempt to get a referendum bill through Parliament. That the MPC is committed to getting the National legislation required in order to call a referendum - ie implying an MPC government will make it possible. But according to CIAG it's already possible to call as a premier of the WC, so all in all sounds like more empty policitical promises Edit: to be fair, he did not say anything to indicate he'd be *against* CI

He's very good at deflection. I don't think he has ever actually said "Cape Independence" in a speech or interview once, despite being asked to talk about it multiple times. Near the end he does say that they would look into it in the event of an ANC/EFF nat govt so that's why the title says "consider".
