I like that one frame where he’s making that funny face at the radio tower.
Edit: Found it.

Thadeus started out as my least favorite but after the first few episodes, I realize he's like every fallout character: flawed, but not necessarily evil. I love the t-boys.
Yes! I really liked how it changed Maximus from a clone of Titus towards Thaddeus to being actually remorseful for his own treatment of him. Thaddeus thought Maximus died, so he told 'Titus' how shitty he felt and why he even beat the fuck out of him.
Maximus even repays him despite the tensions after revealing his true identity by letting him run from the Brotherhood! One of my fav moments of the entire season by far
I think *some* of that showed when Maximus revealed himself to Thaddeus The whole "they'll find out and kill you" bit. He wasn't hostile until Maximus made clear he wasn't gonna listen to reason. He then could have shot Maximus in the face, but just left. Maybe cruel, maybe not. But from Thaddeus' reaction when he met "Titus", he was clearly concerned the Knight was about to hurt him and understands the BoS is a complicated organization.
When he trapped Maximus in his power armor and left him to die. Gave that traitorous leech what he deserved. But noooo Max just had to get saved by plot armor anyway.
Bullshit
It always surprises me how passionate people are on fictional factions to a degree that they are pissed off when they're ridiculed that it seems they believe these entities somehow affect our material world
For me, it’s the cognitive dissonance of knowing someone watched the exact same thing and came to a different conclusion. I am an adult who understands fiction is supposed to do that sometimes, and it still leaves me scratching my head occasionally.
The BoS stuff is perfect for this, as the use of force in an apocalyptic context isn’t something I am used to policing… it’s the end of the world, of course no one is “nice”, but you don’t have to be nice to be “good”.
The NCR is also mined for these moral statements, as people both want to see NCR as a continuation of the old world, including all the parts we hate. Brahmin Barons soaking up resources and the forgotten people left to fend for themselves etc. etc. these are all stand ins for real world behaviors we despise, but lifted from a standard context which would traditionally dictate who the Heel really is. There’s none of that in FO, they’re all dickheads.
Buddy I dislike the BOS as much as you do (I'm literally an NCR fanboy), I just find Maximus' character very unlikeable. And the plot armor shielding him every time just gets old after a while.
And what makes you think I care about the BOS as if it was real life? Are you going to stay on topic or continue making up strawmen just so you can clutch your pearls like a smug douchebag?
That’s kinda the entire point, him becoming a better person throughout the show. It’s almost like making a character perfect from the get go would be boring
Honestly what made the show for me. The nuke scene kills it, but after the initial hype dies down, the contrast of Lucy and Maximus' stories really liven the show.
I found that whole scene pretty weird because you can walk around and exit power armor on an empty core. Idk why the show made that minor retcon because that just feels like a massive design flaw in how the armor works.
Well doesn’t it make more sense like this?
We really need to stop comparing it to the games as bible written lore. The lore was bent around making a functional and enjoyable computer game, there’s plenty of things that they may have wanted to be true or not in the universe but making a game had to be the top priority.
Forcing the show to have to follow this is just self-sabotaging.
I feel like at bare minimum the exit functionality should still be present, but you make a good point in regards to lore and gameplay separation.
It's not like I thought the scene was necessarily bad though, I really liked the tension and the build up to the scene.
It's quite possible Maximus didn't know how to use those functions. As far as we know, moving it without a fusion core may be like driving your car and you lost power steering.
When dude was rightfully confused about Maximus bit being who he said he was and rightfully defended himself only to lose a foot in the process. Poor dude.
Although lost a bit of respect for not killing maximus and taking his armour. Well within his right to. So confusing how he forgave him at the end.
Eddie Winter and Hancock literally get ghoulified through some unspecified "radiation drug" that is never mentioned again.
Quoting Bethesda to justify shitty lore isn't a good move kek
Oh brother, an Interplay/Obsidian purist. What are you gonna tell me next, that you believe that Myron the Date Rapist Slaver *ACTUALLY* invented Jet and didn't just figure out a new recipe to make a similar amphetamine?
I also have seen people throw around the idea that it was the FEV (Forced Evolutionary Virus) like what made the super mutants. But I don’t think that can explain the immortality part
Yeah, in order to become a ghoul you have to be exposed to FEV and high doses of radiation. And you're quite right, just because you're a ghoul it doesn't mean you're immortal- FFS Thaddy just walks off a crossbow bolt in his fucking neck!
Yes, you literally can. Multiple ghoul characters throughout the series have turned themselves into ghouls. John hancock used some kind of drug, likely similar to thaddeus in the show. Then theirs that one rich dude in fallout 3's point lookout dlc that used experimental precedires to turn himself into a ghoul. If i remember correctly the second guy did it before the bombs dropped.
I'm like 90% sure their was another character in fallout 4 that did it but I don't entirely recall.
Moira did in fallout 3, and I don’t think he became a ghoul because of the doctor, he *was* carrying a **radioactive** fusion cell under his clothes after all so that probably did it.
Even the brotherhood wasn't rooting for Thaddeus though. Thad makes the transmission, literally no one asks about him though when Max gets interrogated. More blood for the blood God I guess
Aside from the Mister Handy at the ghoul thingy he was the only character where I went ‚okay i want you to win‘
Then they made him into an idiot and a ghoul all at once, ngl idk if killing him would have been better or worse but he’s the only character I was rooting for aside from the dream of the mister handy killing Lucy and going on an adventure to fix his programming or some shit
Following the Mister Handy do weird wacky Bethesda bullshit would have been better than the rest of the show…
I didn’t, really. He was a medium level scumbag who was great on screen. I liked him having him around but didn’t really feel very attached to him or his goal.
The moment he stood up for his beliefs against maximus.
I know the BOS is misguided but his idealism I believe will be reformed after being broken at the end of season 1 and I think he'll be a strong character eventually.
He’s my least favorite but I did have some sympathy for when he finds out he’s now a ghoul. Will be interesting to see how his character does if they bring him back, I like the actor he does a good job with insufferable white male beta characters 🤣
Imagine if they had said "insufferable black male beta characters". Sounds pretty racist, doesn't it? Why bring up their race on a list of negative attributes?
Sorry your brain is wired to see everything as racist. The definition of racist is “prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism by an individual, community, or institution against a person or people on the basis of their membership in a particular racial or ethnic group, typically one that is a minority or marginalized”
Now ask yourself. Was the person talking about a person as an individual, or were they talkin about a race of people, or saying because they are white, they are a beta and insufferable?
Racism is not something to take lightly, it’s also not something you should just accuse any one of for whatever reason. It takes away from what racism actually is.

Our daddy taught us not to be ashamed
MmmmmmMmMmMmhhhhmmmmhmph
Then a quiet "Perfect!" from the director.
I fucking love this gif
“Alright so for this scene do you think you could make a perfect troll face?”- a professional director
Thadeus started out as my least favorite but after the first few episodes, I realize he's like every fallout character: flawed, but not necessarily evil. I love the t-boys.
> I love the t-boys. [Uh...](https://youtu.be/d2CE0DjDdVA?si=-7-hI25r0lzJcay5)
it was a double entendre. I love Thadeus and Titus, and I love trans boys. simple as.
Hell yeah sister 💪
For all their faults, at least the Brotherhood accepts and validates non-binary members. Genocidal, you say? Perhaps, but not transphobic.
Based as fuck
Maximus is best friends with the realest t boy
Come on other than Dane we all know thaddeus has the most T-boy swag on the cast
Is the actor trans?
No, he just has tboy swag
What the fuck is this?
He's at a place that probably sells burgers and hot pretzels
55 burgers, 55 fries, 55 tacos, 55 pies
...Not paying it!
YOU HAVE TO!
YOURE RICH!
STILL NOT PAYING IT
I’M DOING SOMETHING
YES CHEF!
Looks like it from the second ant man movie where what looks to be a baskin n robbin ice cream parlor.
The first Antman Movie
He walked too far on that mutilated foot to not deserve a happy ending

Maximus you mean?
As soon as he apologized to Maximus.
Yes! I really liked how it changed Maximus from a clone of Titus towards Thaddeus to being actually remorseful for his own treatment of him. when i found out hes 43 years old and still looks like that
Your lying
i speak only the truth
I checked you indeed did not do the lie
He spoke the true true
Norm is like 25 or 30. Chet is younger than him if I remember right.
STOP IT. ETA: Saturday I learned Three Cheers is 20 now and I refused to accept that as well 😂
I only rooted for chicken fucker
When he trapped Maximus in his power armor and left him to die. Gave that traitorous leech what he deserved. But noooo Max just had to get saved by plot armor anyway. Bullshit
Why would you be loyal to a bunch of greedy discriminating LARPers?
Without them he'd be languishing in the crater of Shady Sands.
It always surprises me how passionate people are on fictional factions to a degree that they are pissed off when they're ridiculed that it seems they believe these entities somehow affect our material world
tbf it's fun to do

Hes rolling that high Luck stat.
The tradeoff he gets for accidentally surviving and getting what he wants is failing sidemissions and skipping all the (optional) quest tags.
Better dead than re- brotherhood, that commentdidn’t work out quite how I thought it would
I agree (Check my second most recent post)
Good people can do bad things, bad people can do good things. BoS fanboy try to see nuance challenge: impossible level
I'm an NCR fanboy, genius. I just don't think Max is a good guy
That’s kinda the entire point, him becoming a better person throughout the show. It’s almost like making a character perfect from the get go would be boring
He wasn't "becoming" better. Hated him even more as the show progressed.
Oh okay so you’re just dumb. Got it
Honestly what made the show for me. The nuke scene kills it, but after the initial hype dies down, the contrast of Lucy and Maximus' stories really liven the show.

"Power armor training" unlocks the ability to lug the million ton suit around by the sheer size of your steel nuts.
I will always prioritize game lore over third party products.
My head cannon is the key he had actually just locks the power armor so it can't be stolen by any random with a fusion core.
When dude was rightfully confused about Maximus bit being who he said he was and rightfully defended himself only to lose a foot in the process. Poor dude. Although lost a bit of respect for not killing maximus and taking his armour. Well within his right to. So confusing how he forgave him at the end.
How tf did he turn into a ghoul
The doctor that fucks chickens used some kind of ghoul-ification tonic (idk the lore) to fix Thaddeus’s busted foot by turning him into a ghoul
Urgh. You can't just become a ghoul. Fucking hate what they've done to them.
Live Eddie Winter, Hancock, and Desmond Lockhart reaction:
Eddie Winter and Hancock literally get ghoulified through some unspecified "radiation drug" that is never mentioned again. Quoting Bethesda to justify shitty lore isn't a good move kek
Oh brother, an Interplay/Obsidian purist. What are you gonna tell me next, that you believe that Myron the Date Rapist Slaver *ACTUALLY* invented Jet and didn't just figure out a new recipe to make a similar amphetamine?
So it's established that there already is unnamed ghoulification drug in the lore? That's what it is lmao
NO IT HAS TO FOLLOW *MY* LORE
“according to the lore you cant” “yes you can” “according to MY LORE you cant”
Gee I wonder if maybe that’s the drug chicken fucker injected him with?
I mean, FEV exists. Kek.
So what?
I also have seen people throw around the idea that it was the FEV (Forced Evolutionary Virus) like what made the super mutants. But I don’t think that can explain the immortality part

Eddie Winters as well
Mayor Hancock would like a word.
He can suck it out the tip of my cock
Moira did in fallout 3, and I don’t think he became a ghoul because of the doctor, he *was* carrying a **radioactive** fusion cell under his clothes after all so that probably did it.
Same way Hancock did. Drugs.
Lazy and unexplained
Even the brotherhood wasn't rooting for Thaddeus though. Thad makes the transmission, literally no one asks about him though when Max gets interrogated. More blood for the blood God I guess
When he opened up about his bullying. And he clearly knew Maximus was going too far.
The moment he was branded for no reason
When he gave Trevor Moore edibles and got high in church
“The T Boys!”
Aside from the Mister Handy at the ghoul thingy he was the only character where I went ‚okay i want you to win‘ Then they made him into an idiot and a ghoul all at once, ngl idk if killing him would have been better or worse but he’s the only character I was rooting for aside from the dream of the mister handy killing Lucy and going on an adventure to fix his programming or some shit Following the Mister Handy do weird wacky Bethesda bullshit would have been better than the rest of the show…
pretty much immediately. He’s a cutie and I just want to bake him cookies and tuck him in at night. 9/10 would kiss on that mop of hair
My brother/sister in atom he is a full grown man 😭 bro is 43 years old!!!!!
And I would feed that grown man apple pies and crochet him little beanies for his perfect little head. Just look at him! tell me he doesn’t deserve it
The actor yes. The character is in his early twenties tops.
which the guy from the frontier or the series? (i didnt play or watch either)
The series. The guy in the picture played a BoS scribe called Thaddeus.
The instant I saw him, because I recognized him from Superstore lol.
Just give me whatever's hot and fresh.
I was supposed to?
When he was the son of zorn
I want more Thaddeus, give me more Thaddeus please.
What is this pic from?
As soon as he smoked weed with Trevor Moore
When he did the right thing by sticking with Cheyenne and their baby
“I’ll just take anything hot and fresh” I realized the man needs a meal and safety not this venom and vitriol
when he asked for a burger at baskin-robbins
Saw him for the first time in Superstore, loved him ever since
Never I was rooting for a pack of deathclaws to show up and kill almost every character because they're all so unlikable lmao
I didn’t, really. He was a medium level scumbag who was great on screen. I liked him having him around but didn’t really feel very attached to him or his goal.
Post nut
Whenever he made that air horn sound effect
When it became apparent that he is probably the most genuine and sincere character.
I just realized but why is Thaddeus pretty much just cricket from always sunny 😭
when I started seeing the actor's tiktoks on my fyp
Never. I’m just curious to see more about what happened to him and why he can’t be killed anymore that’s it.
Never. He locked "dogmeat" in a box. Thaddeus should have lost both his feet.
Honestly I screamed like a girl when I saw him on screen because I loved him in Superstore
The moment he stood up for his beliefs against maximus. I know the BOS is misguided but his idealism I believe will be reformed after being broken at the end of season 1 and I think he'll be a strong character eventually.
He’s a mouth breather
I didn't. He locked the dog in a freezer then fucked off. Basically the only BoS memeber I don't want to see dead right now is Dane.
He’s my least favorite but I did have some sympathy for when he finds out he’s now a ghoul. Will be interesting to see how his character does if they bring him back, I like the actor he does a good job with insufferable white male beta characters 🤣
Imagine calling someone beta unironically
Do not imply that Thaddeus "Dickblaster" Wellington is a beta ever again, or I \*will\* become involved.
Why did you have to bring race into it? Seems a bit racist
Tbh I think you should lookup the definition of racism. Just because the color of a person was mentioned doesn’t mean it is racist. If
Imagine if they had said "insufferable black male beta characters". Sounds pretty racist, doesn't it? Why bring up their race on a list of negative attributes?
Sorry your brain is wired to see everything as racist. Nah it doesn’t. Sounds like they are describing them using words.
Ok
Alright who let the alpha in?
