I don't think any of us expected to actually win the game at all but I did expect them to put on a bit of a fight and show some belief and determination but nope, our mentality in our national team is as bad as our self belief mentality as a nation. We just seem to be happy to turn up and be a part of it. We get absolutely embarrassed and plod home with our hats in our hands saying, "Oh well, least we took part". It's cringe inducing. Our nation needs a pair of balls.
Well, you're not far off the mark, the rugby team prob would have turned in a half decent performance in that Germany game, few more red cards granted but I'd have been proud of them at least for the effort.
