Going slow it would be pretty difficult, but leaning left and right on a longboard can get you a pretty decent turning radius. That particular style has cutouts so that the board doesn't touch the wheels when you try a tighter turn. Tightening and loosening the trucks would give less or more turn flexibility. I would assume he uses his feet to balance on the ground? I've never tried this though so it's speculation lol
