That is a good point. Although wasnt the scar visible for everyone? When Sugo gets reintroduced they talk about Asa\`s poster and how her scar appear when she fights devils (so when Yoru is on the helm) so wouldnÂŽt Denji have noticed it?
People were trying to say that Denji knew and was trying to have the whole "ignorance is bliss" mentality that Quanxi taught him but this last chapter proved that wrong.

The way she got everyone out of the aquarium, the spinal cord sword, her telling Denji to stay away from her before the Yoru jumpscare kiss, Nayuta straight up telling Denji that she doesn't like her (devil) smell, the chainsaw bike... People were so disappointed to see these moments played off as dumb gags that they started coping with *Denji knew all along / he doesn't care, let Fujimoto cook!*
Turns out it's just very frustrating and contrived writing, like most things surrounding the AsaDen ship and P2 as a whole.

I always thought the scars were meant to be an indicator to us the reader about whether itâs Asa or Yoru talking,and that they werenât actually there for everyone else, as I would wager we wouldâve gotten a conversation about magically regrowing and self healing scars at some point by now.
As in, only Asa and Yoru can see them to differentiate themselves from one another.
The scar might be visible but someone looking from the outside would at most be like âainât that a strange little thing?â, no way the could go from that to âshe is sharing her body with the war devilâ.
Idk man if I lived in a world where devils existed and regularly inhabited human bodies, and I myself were a person with a devil inhabiting my body, Iâd probably be at least a tad suspicious of a person who keeps changing personality marked by the appearance and disappearance of extremely obvious and plainly visible scars on their face

- you have insider knowledge on it, so of course it seems more obvious to you (cause itâs harder to think of different possible reasons for it when you know the actual one)
- most importantly, Dennis is very dumb (in general)

Asa and Fumiko have been built up as foils to one another since the latter's introduction. Denji rejecting one side in favor of the other there will, logically, lead to some sort of payoff in the near future.
Yeah Iâve been wondering since the chapter dropped if maybe heâs wanting to escape Asa and the group so heâs hoping that if he goes to a Sushi place heâll run into Fumiko and Yoshida who will likely fight with the group and he can use that time to escape and search for Nayuta. Except... that CSM will probably be less aggressive on Yoru if he thinks it's just Asa (still, he will probably try to not hurt her if possible, even if he ends-up knowing she have the War devil inside her).
