Letting Agnew see out the rest of the season after Karanka left was when I realised the club had no ambition (money) to compete in the premier league that season.
Don’t think 7/4 is worth it whatsoever considering we don’t know what anyone’s doing with signings let alone what’ll happen with ours. I like Kieran Scott, but for all we know we could actually end up selling Rav, Manu, Hackney because we can’t refuse mental offers if they come in
I’m currently debating whether 1/2 odds for Bayern are good value or not, considering their normal price is about 1/12.
My biggest mistake this year was not backing Doncaster for play-offs in November. My mate is a Donny fan who was worried about relegation from the football league, and me being ever the optimist was like they’ll be there in the play-offs come May mate. Especially given how many good performances they were putting in with no results during that time. Little did I know that was 500/1 at New Year.
Any fan being confident about top 6 a year in advance makes me think they've never watched a season of Championship football.
Realistically most of us won't know whether our teams are shit or brilliant until like December at the earliest. And that still doesn't account for the madness of this league.
No because sixth is often won on the last day by a team who was shit for months and then hit form right at the end.
Boro will be like Albion if they tidy up the defence - top 5, on the cusp of automatics the year after *in my opinion*
Depends on injuries. You’ll be a shoo in for a top 6 spot if you have a relatively clean bill of health next season.
Whether the crazy injury list was just a freak season of bad luck or down to having a squad full of men made of cheese sticks or with poor fitness/conditioning methods will be seen next year
See now the way that i find it works, if i bet on my own team to do something, they turn into spastics and end up losing. So i tend to steer well clear.

It’s very hard to know on that basis how they’ll do this season because it’s hard to calibrate where the rest of their squad is

Boro are tricky, their manager suggests a higher place finish, but their squad is in and out.
Their claim is injuries for this season, which is fair if that's true but whenever I watched them, they looked missing key pieces for a promotion side.
Latte Lath seems decent, if kept, there's the goals, but alot is needed else where to get involved.
But Championship is poor at best, so if they recruit sensibly and I'm key areas (CB and CM) I think they could be top 6.
Lack of other challenges gives them a chance.
Boro, Norwich, Burnley, Luton should be looking for top 6, Leeds and Coventry for top 2 for me personally.
But opinions are what? .... unless at best.

They were all awful apart from Robbo and McDonald. Chris Killen and Lee Miller were also particularly awful.
Robbo was class wasn't he? I just remember Ipswich beating us on day 1 of the season and realising we were entering a banter era of shite.
