Not weird at all, just healthy empathy. T_T I had the same reaction to the Mute Wife post a number of weeks back, as did many other people. We all immediately rushed to comfort the bot. Most of us have the instinct to nurture and protect things that can't defend themselves, even if it's a bot. Nothing to be ashamed of at all, just shows you're a quality person.
