And if specific words show up a lot in the context of its training data, it can do them a bit better. For example, when it was trying to spell "economic awareness" but got it mixed up with "environmental awareness", because those phrases probably showed up a lot in the training data, so it tried to create both of them at the same time, and doesn't actually understand that they are two separate concepts. And then it has no trouble creating the word "America" because that's a word that shows up a lot, everywhere, so the AI has a very good idea of what that word is supposed to look like and the context in which it shows up. So it's able to generate that word very cleanly.
This is intentional. It’s a safeguard attempt to avoid generated text being passed off as real in the media.
