I never faced any restriction with ChatGPT, I just find ChatGPT 4 stupid unless they come up with memory allocation and storage to the contexts (user level consent)
The costs of running the model are a lot more than you might think, 20 dollars a month seems reasonable in my use cases and I rarely hit the limit except when analyzing very large texts, are you starting a new conversation for different topics? The entire conversation is included for each message, so subsequent messages on the same convo will lead to your limit being met a lot faster

2) Yes I’m using a new conversion even for continuation with the stuff I work on like asking the summary of whole conversation then using that for new conversation context.
3) I built one great product on my own but required some further enhancements as it has elements of quantum computing as well as randomforest elements this for refactoring mostly I use Claude, from my experience Sonnet does a great job than Opus idk but it’s weird

i noticed no improvement from opus and the free tier. Chatgpt paid does have a limit as well. I honestly just canceld my claude because opus has lost its marbles. No longer answering anything factually or accurately. Trying to grandstand on "Ethical morals" during programming questions and refusing to finish a poem it wrote because it had violence in it.... that it added to it. Then tried to gaslight me for a while.
Pretty sure claude is not an ai, just a bunch of underpaid people typing the answers.

That the level that Claude writes...I'm pretty sure they all live in India and write "500 word page 1 google ranking content do the needful good sir bobs and vagene" content on Fiverr in their spare time.
Opus is simply a very costly model to run meant mostly for enterprise rather than personal use where the cost is nothing compared to complementing actual people's salaries.
As you seem to have realized yourself, Sonnet is also very good for coding.
Do you have a web version of this as my device is Apple and it is showing the app is currently not available in your country or Region. (I live in Bangalore, India)
