I drove a 1992 Grand Prix in 2012. I loved that car, bought it with cash as a cheap car to get through grad school. I named her Phyllis after Phyllis Diller. Anyway I ended up spending twice the cash I paid for it just keeping it *alive*. It lasted me two years and then she went to her final resting place. RIP Phyllis.
Sorry, the police only hang on I-270 to catch reckless driving between 11:30am and 2pm. /s but also not /s

lol seriously this has paranoid boomer energy. Who the hell is checking this subreddit before getting in their car at night in the off chance you’re warned of a single reckless car?
This is the 3rd post I've seen today in various city/ state based subreddits warning of dangerous drivers! What the hell is going on? Also seen in r/Illinois and r/BloomingtonNormal
I’ve lived in a few cities/towns of varying sizes across the US in the last decade and I can confidently say that the average Columbus driver is uniquely terrible
> I’ve lived in a few cities/towns of varying sizes across the US in the last decade
Same
> and I can confidently say that the average Columbus driver is uniquely terrible
I have the opposite impression. When I first moved to Ohio, it was amazing that people actually made space to let you merge into the highway. There are bad drivers everywhere, but overall it’s pretty good around here.
Lol you're right, and no I'm not new, but it was weird to have all 3 similar instances in my feed at the same time. I'm used to the stacked pallet car and the cookie monster guy in this particular sub.
>Did you post here instead of calling the police?
It clearly states in the body text **“Already reported to police”** which suggests I informed the police and then posted a warning to other drivers in a public community forum, in that order.
Did you actually read the post before posting a condescending reply?
There’s a line. And that line is endangering other people’s lives. Would you be cool if the youngest person you love was in the car they almost hit? And would it just be joyriding if that resulted in that person’s injury or death?
Oh, if they're having fun they can drive as fast and stupid as they want, that makes it okay! It's only bad if the reckless drivers are sad and bored 🙄
If they stole the car, they aren't worried about the license plate being read.
The odds of someone reading this, going out, and coming across the same car is so incredibly slim I can’t believe you spent the time to type it
I dunno if you needed the license plate - not a lot of Grand Prix around outside of scrap heaps these days. Probably the only one in 50 miles.
We must live in different neighborhoods. There's kinda a shocking number of them still around once you start looking.
I saw a Grand Prix the other day on the highway and actually did a double take – I couldn’t believe it, I haven’t seen one in years.

Still plenty in Ohio. Yes they’re rusted to shit but the 3800 V6 is a very reliable powertrain.
A lot of grand prixs running around. Things are tankssssss

“I SAW A TRAFFIC VIOLATION. I REPORTED IT TO THE POLICE, BUT R/COLUMBUS MUST KNOW!”
This subreddit it nextdoor lite.
Also, the chick fil a gives out soggy nuggets fyi
lol seriously this has paranoid boomer energy. Who the hell is checking this subreddit before getting in their car at night in the off chance you’re warned of a single reckless car?
Welcome to the sub
This sub is literally Nextdoor
I’m all for reporting idiots on the road, but this subreddit is not the place.
wow thanks for telling me there’s a bad driver
This is the 3rd post I've seen today in various city/ state based subreddits warning of dangerous drivers! What the hell is going on? Also seen in r/Illinois and r/BloomingtonNormal
Are you new to city/state-based subreddits? People complaining about other drivers is half the content in all of them.
I’ve lived in a few cities/towns of varying sizes across the US in the last decade and I can confidently say that the average Columbus driver is uniquely terrible

Nothing is going on. People suck at driving. It's nothing new. It isn't specific to one city or worse in one place compared to another.
Yeah I fully agree when people are like, "such and such city has the WORST drivers! " I just thought it was weird I had 3 in my feed at the same time.
Columbus doesn't enforce traffic laws. Thats all
So a weekend that has more drivers than almost any other time of year has resulted in more bad drivers? Wild
So weird to see Bloomington brought up on the Columbus reddit!
Reddit is the new Nextdoor. 🙄
VIN = Vehicle Identification Number. It's bad form to say "VIN Number".
For being that pedantic, you owe me $20. Now go to the ATM machine and get it for me.
Narc.
Post this in citizen not Reddit lol. Also don’t be a snitch
Update: their died

Not all of it, I was busy driving my 2004 Grand Prix while trying to read this
I'm telling on you
Sounds like they were just joy riding. Let them have some fun!

I have to agree with OP here. 270/71 is not the place to do this.
