I have all of Jason Dion's courses from Udemy. Yes they are more complicated than the real tests. He intentionally designs the practice exams to be more convoluted than the official test. He also goes above and beyond the exam objectives because ultimately he wants to you actually be a competent IT Professional. Think of it as his way of kind of making sure that you aren't just memorizing answers, but you're understanding the fundamentals, the concepts and the bigger picture.
If you are getting mid 70's on Jason Dions exams, then you are ready for the real thing. Good luck
Dion’s tests are the closest thing I’ve seen to the actual test. Know your acronyms. Know the difference in attack vectors and what each does. And understand concepts. You got this

Messers tests for me were the most similar. I did both.

The only down side is that you’d need to know why you have the wrong answers

It got some high 70s and 80s in my dion 601 exams. Passed yesterday w/ 792 if that help at all
