I love iHeartRadio.com because you can choose from decades, genre, or by your favorite artists!!! iHeartRadio.com also plays the contemporaries of your favorite artist!!!
Kiely Connell has a new album yet. I honestly have not had time to check out yet but it must be worth at least one listen through. I loved her first album.
Im telling you, Willis Alan Ramsey’s one and only album is phenomenal. Its seriously one of my favorite albums of all time and totally overlooked. Jerry Jeff Walker covered Northeast Texas Women, Jimmy Buffet covered Ballad of Spider John but largely overlooked otherwise.
Purple Mountains—their one and only album— Purple Mountains.
Alabama Shakes—2 albums—Sound & Color, Boys & Girls
Bob Dylan—Time Out Of Mind, Live at Budokan
I can't specify albums but ck out Newgrass Revival and Desert Rose Band from the 80s n early 90s.The other artists would be Roseanne Cash,Rodney Crowell, and Guy Clark
Our perennial favorite current bands would be Shinyribs,Paul Thorn,Billy Strings
I've also been listening to a wide assortment of whole Jam band concerts on nugs.net
Here’s a couple of live shows from Sturgill and Colter:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=RLQHUiAFeno&pp=ygUSc3VuZGF5IHZhbGxleSBsaXZl
It’s a little raw with spotty audio quality, but the musical diversity is breathtaking. Add in the fact that they were playing in front of a small crowd with rain mixed in…

686 views, and half must be mine. Again, iffy sound, but he does a cover of “Blood on the Saddle” by Tex Ritter that gives me the chills every time.
I’ve loved listening to these two concerts while doing work.
Treaty Oak Revival - No Vacancy
The Michigan Rattlers - Evergreen
Glossary - Feral Fire
Austin Lucas - Stay Reckless
The Defibulators - Debt'll Get Em
The Whiskey Gentry - Holly Grove
The Fox Hunt - Long Way to Go
Lucero - Women and Work
Drive-By Truckers - The Dirty South
Doc Daily and Magnolia Devil - Victims, Enemies, and Old Friends
Micky and the Motorcars - Naive
Sturgill-High Top/Metamodern/live on Red Barn (concert on YouTube)
Tyler Childers-Purgatory
Jeremy Pinnell-all three of his albums
Jesse Daniel-Rolling On
Whitey Morgan-self titled/Sonic Ranch
Colter Wall-all his albums
Turnpike Troubadours-Diamonds/Goodbye Normal Street
Ellis Bullard-both releases
Hank 3-Straight to Hell
I’d say these you can listen to without skipping any songs (great for working around the house).
Also, I’ve skipped over the classic old timers (Merle, Johnny, Waylon, Willie, Hank, Patsy, Dolly, Emmylou, etc…).
Edit:
Aw shit, I didn’t even look at the OP name-you know all this stuff, but I’ll leave it up anyway…
She was a DJ for a NYC area station (WFMU) awhile back. Her show was the Radio Thrift Shop. Don't know if she did other DJ gigs. Now she does some short tours once in a while along with sporadic gigs
Pretty sure that's her. The person I was thinking off on gimme Country had also been a New York City DJ public radio DJ I think.
She was doing this cool thing on GimmeCountry for a while where every week she would cover classic country music from a different state.
Shane Smith & the Saints newest album “Norther”
Charles Wesley Godwin “Family Ties”
Jason Boland & the Stragglers “The Light Saw Me”
Chris Stapleton “Traveler”
Actually my history looks like it's a little bluegrass heavy right now but that's not necessarily my favorite genre. Anyway, give me whatever albums you think are awesome. Last time I asked I got through several good concept albums from the recommendations.
Anything Evan Horner or Cade Mower. Cade has a new song on Friday and Evan just released one last week.
Decemberists- the Hazards of Love
Sierra Ferrell's 2 full length albums.

Michael Hurley- honestly he has a ton of albums and they are all good
Purple Mountains—their one and only album— Purple Mountains. Alabama Shakes—2 albums—Sound & Color, Boys & Girls Bob Dylan—Time Out Of Mind, Live at Budokan
Purple Mountains rules as does Silver Jews
Agree. Gone too soon.
[Me Covering 'Horseleg Swastikas' ](https://youtu.be/aHzEN8mKXQs?feature=shared)
We Could Be Looking For the Same Thing —Silver Jews is a great group . I hope people check them out. Deserved more recognition than he got.
That song just hit me way different than ever before; he's a cryptic one. The cover of that record is far out. I feel that lol.
The Berman fanbase is rather ferocious

Liam St.John.- Stripped back deluxe and all the bad things (stripped back) Evan Honer- West on I-10 Leather- Cody Johnson
Big House (self titled)
Corb Lund’s new album El Viejo is pretty damn perfect.
Waylon Jennings - Luckenbach Texas - guest singer is Willie Nelson - I have listened to it hundreds of times - it's perfect
Mickey Newbury. Charlie Rich, Skeeter Davis, Travis Tritt
Old: John Hartford - Aero-Plain. New: Lost Dog Street Band - Survived.
The Avett Brothers, The Wild Feathers, Jamestown Revival, Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats (not country, but SO good)

Your edit made my day. Hilarious.
Sierra Ferrell new album Trail of Flowers is great. Laura Cantrell has a few older albums that I love also
I need to check out Laura Cantrell. Was she a DJ on gimme Country and elsewhere along with being a musician, or am I thinking of a different Laura C?

You're not a broken record, you're shilling and that's a form of spam. Please stop doing that in the subreddit.
