> The cop going between the raised stones of that traffic island at about 30 sec in was insane
Gotta be difficult to ride like that
With those massive balls
In my head I just said “Did he just plow right over those? Motorcycle, whatever, anyway”
Because I didn’t actually think he’d finesse that, because holy shit
All THREE of them. From the second this video started, was watching the passenger body language, and that's not that chick's first time doing that. Riding with a passenger and doing hard leans and switches like that, I literally don't know how that worked, as the slightest offset from that passenger would totally derail that manuevering. Sick video
Thank you it was a beautiful funeral, they draped me in a red cloth and threw the corpse of the bull that killed me down into the grave first so I could rest eternally atop the corpse of the beast that murdered me.
Yeah, 100% truth spoken in that statement. My wife and I just came back from the Lonestar Rally in Galveston, TX. I was making a slow speed, tight turn at 8 mph. When my wife's ADHD got the better of her. She became distracted and shifted her weight...I almost dropped the bike right there.
at like 30s in, when the chase bike drove between those white things in the intersection, at speed? like damn. and towards the end, the hard left between the stairs/sidewalk and the red car? jesus.
and that chase bike had some serious power - soon as he came out of a turn and hammered it, he was on the runaway's ass like immediately.
It did indeed have a lot more power, and what makes the cops skills even more impressive was that the cops bike was much bigger in comparison to the one being pursued and not at all easy to throw round them corners. Whereas the fleeing bike was more of a trail bike, the cops bike was more like a cruiser.
You can see the differences between the two bikes in the original video (You can also watch it at the original speed as the one in this post is sped up somewhere between x1.5 and x2).
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5GmFNoyb1pk
Right like the cop was genuinely enjoying the chase and didn't have some animosity where he wanted to just hurt them. I think he almost got caught up in the chase and laughed when he won and then had to switch to cop mode and start yelling to stay down or whatever.
Some foreign country bike chases feel peaceful (Asian for one) feel peaceful. Little hostility. Other countries are rarely peaceful. (I've noticed others feel similar)
South US chases are less harsh than North USA, but both are harsh
Car chases always feel hostile. Stolen bike & car chases feel the harshest.
I prefer "nice vibe" speeding ticket chases over sanctioned races. Makes sense.
Some chases, I guess, also come with a modicum of respect for the other rider.
Thoughtful post comment.
Have n arro.
Seriously. Both the officer and the suspect were absolutely amazing and brought out the best skills out of each other. It’s good enough to be a scene in a movie. I almost wonder if they said “good game” to one another afterwards. Regardless of the whole officer vs suspect thing, I would like to think they earned each other’s “respect”.
While the guy running had a smaller bike and a passenger, he did an amazing job of giving that cop a run for his money. When he started going down the narrow foot passages I was beginning to think he might lose him. Too bad he dumped it. Better than a head-on with a car, which I was worried might occur.
I know I can absolutely throw my bike around corners easier, without having to worry about a passenger. Her weight probably wasnt crazy, since she's so small, but I know how much easier it is to maneuver WITHOUT somebody else's weight.
This was basically just a real life version of the Jason Bourne chase scene in, I think, the first movie. Now someone please show me the real life version of the Ronin chase scene, because THAT I want to see

Video is sped up. You can tell by watching the pedestrians, and towards the end when the pursued motorcycle is weaving to psyche out the cop.
So prolly about 12-15 minutes. Still impressive.
That's much more linear than I expected. I thought the path was just going to look like a tangled knot, with lots of backtracking and self-intersections and stuff.
There’s still a chance they spring him from jail for a Dirty Dozen-style adventure - agree to use his incredible motorcycle skills on an impossible mission in exchange for his freedom.
I think they should slap a badge on the kid. He's got all the skills for the job, just needs a little guidance, and this department has the perfect supervisor for him.
I’ve heard a lot of police departments don’t even bother with physically chasing fleeing motorcyclists because it’s just so dangerous for everyone involved. Instead they try other tactics of identifying the person and bike and finding them when they’re not speeding around on a bike.
That wouldn't work that well in Brazil, the place the video takes place in, 99% of the criminals are on bikes, it would just let scum roam free with that idea.
More of a practice than an idea, and yeah it depends entirely on the location, infrastructure, police tools, etc. whether it’s practical or not. Like someone else mentioned, they sometimes only give chase in open areas and back off in residential or crowded areas. This is definitely a dangerous situation though, I wonder what the guy did, other than the whole “Need for Speed: Brazil” thing.
Yup...at least several dozen people were lethally endangered in this video. Possibly over 100. All to catch 2 people that will likely only spend time in jail at the worst. Sure no one was hurt except the 2 people being chased at the end after they fell of their bike. But it could have EASILY gone much worse.
Goes to prove, there’s no replacement for displacement. Both, incredible riders but even with a pillion, the kid could outride that cop. But the cop caught up to him on every straightaway.
It's funny that São Paulo police officers usually provoke criminals during chases. I've seen videos of officers doing a wheelie on their motorcycle while the entire community tried to knock him off the motorcycle using trash containers.

First time seeing this video and wow, I can feel the adrenaline through that video, what an intensive chase :o
Definitely the best chase I've ever seen.
The entire time I was watching that all I could think was “that has got to be the adrenaline rush of a lifetime.” Like if I could be 100% guaranteed I wasn’t going to hurt anybody else, I’d pick doing that over skydiving.
probably all the usual stuff
"Did you think you could get away from me?"
"I didn't do anything"
"Bullshit we have you on camera bro"
"IDK what you're talking about"
"You thought you could get away but I'm just too fuckin good huh"
"Whatever"
"Hey girl why don't you come home with me"
Wow, in the higher-resolution video at 5:25 you can see that the fleeing couple was about to get blasted by a cop in the SUV. The guy was drawn down and nearly had them dead to rights.
Haha so many more obstacles in hi-def like cartoon stuff, dudes on ladders, fruit stands… crazy video thanks for sharing! I was catching myself unconsciously shifting my weight right and left a few hard turns in.
person above mapped out the exact route:

Based on timestamps from the original video posted [below](https://www.reddit.com/r/CrazyFuckingVideos/comments/17rhi2e/forget_all_the_police_suspect_chase_scenes_youve/k8jl0jl/), I calculated that it was sped up to approximately 147%. Considering the slow motion segments, probably 150%.
I came to comment the exact same thing. The video is definitely sped up to 1.5x.
You can tell by the way that the bike's suspension bounces and rebounds. It happens too quickly.
And of course the most important comment is buried under 20 useless ones...
I kinda wish reddit would implement the same thing twitter does when it comes debulshitifying posts.
Hate when they do this. Like it's original speed is probably still super impressive. Now I question how great this actually is if someone had to speed it up.
Sped up. The bouncing on the speed bumps is especially obvious when they didn't slow them down. It's still very impressive riding, but yeah, it's really annoying having manipulated content like this. It's unnecessary.
She's the literal definition of someone who's "ride or die". Her hanging on during the Mario Kart jumps was almost more impressive than the two driving the motorcycles.
This is a repost. I really enjoyed the riders' skills the first time I saw it. I also thought about how much more pissed the cop must have gotten the longer it went on.
This video is really old and has been sped up tremendously if I’m not mistaken. Still impressive, but if you watch the OG you’ll be a little dissappointed
Omg that was sooooooo entertaining! They're both amazing riders!! And that chick is the definition of ride or die! Wonder what the suspect did for the cop to be so insistent on getting him!!
Literally GTA 😂
I felt the adrenaline!
Impressive indeed.. waiting for the driver to get sloppy and tire him out.
But I noticed the video is sped up a tad. But.. indeed impressive 👀

Both these people can ride a motorcycle. They can ride the absolute shit outta them.
The cop going between the raised stones of that traffic island at about 30 sec in was insane.
I puckered real good at that moment
Riding like that with your girl on back is wild. I was puckering the whole time.
Yeah this is better than a fast n furious movie
But not as good as FAMILY
The only thing better is FAMILY
Yeah but there's something better than FAMILY and that's FAMILY
Definitely not her first time either. She knew how to stay on and react to each bump or turn.
Clearly not her first rodeo lol that would not have been possible with some chick on the back counter balancing and freaking out.
unpucker, this video is sped up
Yup. A little too far left or right and he’s going over the handlebars.
> The cop going between the raised stones of that traffic island at about 30 sec in was insane Gotta be difficult to ride like that With those massive balls

She kept fucking calm, for sure.
definitely not her first rodeo
Not sure what you saw, but that was a motocycle chase, not cattle.
Oh, that's what I was missing.
its ok, its your first rodeo
I remember my first rodeo. Bull gored me right through the gut and I bled out and died in the ring. RIP, me.
RIP in peace.
Thank you it was a beautiful funeral, they draped me in a red cloth and threw the corpse of the bull that killed me down into the grave first so I could rest eternally atop the corpse of the beast that murdered me.
That's a ride or die for sure.
Literally
His pillion is impressive. Is this what they mean by ride or die?
Yeah, 100% truth spoken in that statement. My wife and I just came back from the Lonestar Rally in Galveston, TX. I was making a slow speed, tight turn at 8 mph. When my wife's ADHD got the better of her. She became distracted and shifted her weight...I almost dropped the bike right there.
I know next to nothing about motorcycles, but even I recognized that she must have had some major passenger skills for them to make those maneuvers.
That's what I was wondering to, I'm not experienced in riding bikes like that but damn !
I think she was velcro'd to the driver. That, or this was all an ad for GTA6 and it was one single body mesh.
at like 30s in, when the chase bike drove between those white things in the intersection, at speed? like damn. and towards the end, the hard left between the stairs/sidewalk and the red car? jesus. and that chase bike had some serious power - soon as he came out of a turn and hammered it, he was on the runaway's ass like immediately.

I love how the cop laughs when he rounds the corner and sees them on the floor.
Right like the cop was genuinely enjoying the chase and didn't have some animosity where he wanted to just hurt them. I think he almost got caught up in the chase and laughed when he won and then had to switch to cop mode and start yelling to stay down or whatever.

You either a PhD in pursuitology or very high af rn
Police ride bikes weird. It works really, really well. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XAhxI9pIp2s
Holy shit all that and "that is not a pass."
Lots of counterbalance.
Seriously. Both the officer and the suspect were absolutely amazing and brought out the best skills out of each other. It’s good enough to be a scene in a movie. Copper laughing at the end when he gets him, I reckon you're spot on.
It was like a scene from a Jason Bourne movie. Just amazing .

When he started going down the narrow foot passages I was beginning to think he might lose him. Too bad he dumped it. Better than a head-on with a car, which I was worried might occur.
Ikr I'm so glad it ended this way.
I have no doubt.. without a passenger, this dude had a real chance at burning the brakes off that bike cop. Stunning riding, all around.
Yeah I think the extra weight from the passenger was really slowing him down.
I know I can absolutely throw my bike around corners easier, without having to worry about a passenger. Her weight probably wasnt crazy, since she's so small, but I know how much easier it is to maneuver WITHOUT somebody else's weight.
that vid is impressive, even at original speed. its sped up af ...
Cosigned
Yeah and neither of them was quitting
Yep, that’s the craziest chase video I’ve ever seen
Hollywood producers would reject this chase for being too unrealistic.
This was basically just a real life version of the Jason Bourne chase scene in, I think, the first movie. Now someone please show me the real life version of the Ronin chase scene, because THAT I want to see

23 minutes by car - 6 minutes by motorcycle.

Are you Rainbolt Two?!?

Neat. Thanks for posting it.
You're a saint.

That's much more linear than I expected. I thought the path was just going to look like a tangled knot, with lots of backtracking and self-intersections and stuff.
This is a crazy fucking video!
In a different life, with better circumstances, this kid could have been the next Rossi
There’s still a chance they spring him from jail for a Dirty Dozen-style adventure - agree to use his incredible motorcycle skills on an impossible mission in exchange for his freedom.
Are you kidding me? They're DEFINITELY going to let him out so he will race for the government on a secret mission. That stuff happens all the time.
That’s how movies are born
I think they should slap a badge on the kid. He's got all the skills for the job, just needs a little guidance, and this department has the perfect supervisor for him.
Sounds like the plot to a movie.
That's both impressively irresponsible and irresponsibly impressive
I’ve heard a lot of police departments don’t even bother with physically chasing fleeing motorcyclists because it’s just so dangerous for everyone involved. Instead they try other tactics of identifying the person and bike and finding them when they’re not speeding around on a bike.

She's the literal definition of someone who's "ride or die". Her hanging on during the Mario Kart jumps was almost more impressive than the two driving the motorcycles.
Yeah that’s pretty cool, my girl and I actually do cool adventures too! The other week we went to a Thai restaurant
When you watch a 6 minute motorcycle chase video and no one gets pancaked. 😢
The unedited video is probably closer to 12-15 minutes.
I was so scared for the dog at the end.
I need a cigarette.
Once I noticed the video is sped up, it’s just not that impressive.
It's infuriating because the original is still impressive as hell, but OP had to ruin a good thing. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5GmFNoyb1pk
This is so much better and the perp almost got away.
My first thought was "I have seen this before but wasn't it way longer?" as soon as it started its obvious its sped up...
They are probably only going like 35-50 in the video. I hate altered videos.
You ever done 50 down a regular sized alley in any vehicle? It’s fuckin fast.
This is a repost. I really enjoyed the riders' skills the first time I saw it. I also thought about how much more pissed the cop must have gotten the longer it went on.
Motorcycle Skill - 100
This video is really old and has been sped up tremendously if I’m not mistaken. Still impressive, but if you watch the OG you’ll be a little dissappointed
Holy fuuuuuck. The tight corridors at the end are crazy.
That's probably the most interesting video I've seen on Reddit for months Thank you for sharing
I was locked in for the whole video
This cop should be nicknamed the terminator because nothing could stop him, MF just kept coming!
"Hey! You dropped your handkerchief back there."
2nd best I've seen. 1st is that south African one where the cop pulls out his Glock and starts blasting on the move
Could have easily watched another 30 minutes of this chase!
Her ass took some pounding
Omg that was sooooooo entertaining! They're both amazing riders!! And that chick is the definition of ride or die! Wonder what the suspect did for the cop to be so insistent on getting him!!
God damn this shit had me in the edge of my seat!
Fucking cops the t1000
Whoa 😮 that’s awesome skills 👏
Those are some skinny ass alleys
They would have been better off if they ditched the bike on the final stairs and ran in opposite directions.
That was 4 minutes of bonkers. That shit was sooo cool.
Is this sped up? I feel like it is
That was a pretty f'ing intense bike chase.
You think they let them go with a warning?
All 3 of them should just shake hands, nod helmets and go about their day like the bad mother fuckers they all are.
I have to watch the video again. This time I’ll focus on the actual chase!
My heart is racing, my blood pressure is up, I’m shaking, and I’m sitting on my fucking couch!
This is the greatest video ever
Literally GTA 😂 I felt the adrenaline! Impressive indeed.. waiting for the driver to get sloppy and tire him out. But I noticed the video is sped up a tad. But.. indeed impressive 👀
Chick in the back is a literal ride or die
that was fucking awesome
Wow. Just wow.
If someone wants to see more of this look for ROCAM 22M on youtube.
This is the best Mission Impossible chase seen I’ve ever seen!
