It's very bland, like all of their cookies are bland. You can tell that the overall brand isn't run by someone who loves baking and puts their heart into it.

I think what it boils down to is two things for Crumbl
1. Consistency is not their thing.
2. Everyone has different flavor palettes.

It's one of my top cookies. It was the vey first crumbl cookie I had, then had to wait a year and a half for it to come back. Bought a party box and froze most of them. Will be doing the same this week! To the person that said it's a basic sugar cookie, no it is not. The texture is the same as cornbread and the frosting is bomb.
Do you set out to get them to room temp, or do you reheat? (Orā¦eat them frozen??) Considering doing the same this week but not sure of the best way to eat them once frozen!
Also - do you spread the frosting out?

I leave it sit at room temp then eat.
How I froze them....
I spread out the frosting evenly over the top. I put them all on a cookie sheet and in the freezer until the frosting was frozen, then took them out and individually wrapped them all in parchment paper & foil.
I thought I would love it because I love Crumblās more āsimpleā cookies but itās very grainy in a way thatās not reminiscent of cornbread. I wouldnāt get it again but good to try once.
I liked it the first time I had it then went to a different store and it was even better. The second time tasted more like cornbread but was grainier. The first time really didnāt taste like cornbread but it was softer. Either way Iām getting a 6 pack of them tomorrow because me and my sister love it. Hopefully they donāt let us down. Crumbl cookies are kinda touch and go soā¦
One of the few 10/10 crumbl cookies imo. Itās my gfs favorite cookie and definitely in my top 5. Itās strikes a perfect balance between a sweet cornbread and a cookie and buttercream on top brings it all together. Gonna order a 12 pack of them this week and freeze a bunch.

Cornbread probably is the number #1 overrated cookie imo tbh but the mallow sandwich is up there as well.
