Yes

IAmTheCatL8dy

Thanks, I was feeling really guilty for saying something!

Valhkyrie

Do not feel guilty the first thing I thought when I saw that was, “what the fuck is that.”

ButterflyMuted6992

I’m sorry but how are these employees not noticing these cookies are unfinished before boxing them?? Is it an easy mistake?

Several-Two-7173

Because it should be done at ovens not at dressing so if we know it doesn’t have to be dressed we usually don’t even check especially when it’s busy. At ovens they do multiple trays at a time so it’s not hard to forget to put it on really. Also, there’s a supply shortage on the apple filling so they probably put a tiny bit to try to stretch it out. I’m sure this was a manager’s idea 🙄 I always have someone at my store telling me I put too much of the toppings on cookies

brandee95

At $5 a cookie toppings should be abundant. When did Crumble get so stingy?

PurpleCamp1582

it’s not crumbl this time, it’s the producers of the apple filling (since it’s not housemade) they didn’t have enough ready basically for this weeks cookie so store managers are having to make it from scratch but it’s sorta difficult

Zoloir

right but like... its ok to sell out. just do that, sell out, and make more filling. selling out makes you seem popular and like it was a really good flavor. doing this shit... just makes people never want to buy it again.

PurpleCamp1582

no yea totally agree with you!

Flammzzrant

My guess is curbside pickup or delivery, boxes are sealed for deliveries idk about pickup, so they dont care. My store always shows them to me before closing the boxes, I feel like that's policy but maybe not all stores

Cherokeerayne

They do notice they don't care.

Nirncado

Well then the customer should say “nope, does not look right, please fix it.”

Cherokeerayne

Duh lmfao

Nirncado

Duh right back to you tho… you said that “they don’t care”… of course they care it’s why they are asking the customer if they all look right. That’s the customer’s moment to say they don’t look right. Soooo.

Cherokeerayne

They literally have never asked me if the cookies look alright when giving me my order so yeah they literally don't care. Shocking, I know. I've even gone to different stores in my state and the state over when I'm working and every store I've walked into doesn't greet me nor do they present the cookies and ask how they look so yeah they don't care. It's wild you're trying to argue over cookies. Get your panties out of the wad that's up your ass.

Nirncado

You’re actually the one arguing but ok. Maybe it’s you? You seem to have an agro attitude. I’m always greeted at every store I’ve been to. You’re probably bad vibes. And again… it’s still a time for YOU to check them. If you walk out the door without checking that’s on you.

Providence451

I visit two different stores near me and I have always been shown my cookies and asked if they look good. Every single time.

Cherokeerayne

I've gone to 3 different stores in the state I live in and 1 in the next state over and none of the 4 stores have ever shown me if the cookies look alright. I asked if they could put more honey on my minis yesterday and was told no. tThe cookies looked pathetic.

Providence451

I guess we are just lucky, then.

Cherokeerayne

You have stores doing what they're supposed to do.

jasprys

I mean they're boxing them so they obviously see how the cookies turned out. Maybe its because the OP didnt tip given that wages for Crumbl workers are low hourly wages + tip lol

ButterflyMuted6992

Tipping isn’t required to receive the correct paid for Crumbl cookie though.. that’s just so bizarre to say lol

TimelyScience9063

Because you tip before a service is rendered? 🤔

Fantastic_Act565

you don’t even see if they tipped or not when ur dressing

Apprehensive_Bee8874

That looks absolutely disgusting, tbh. I don't blame you at all.

matchalibrarian

Yes absolutely! I don’t fault you at all, that doesn’t look good or appetizing.

Unable-Message9271

YES! Immediately and loudly. I just got an apple pie mini and can't even post it even though it was beautiful because it was delicious and immediately devoured upon returning to the car 🤣 The cookie they gave you is a disgrace.

E0H1PPU5

That cookie looks like a seagull with a terminal illness took a poop on it.

BoringPush2714

Wtf is that

WhatWouldScoobyDoo2

Crumbl forgot the crumble? That seems like #1 basic stuff right there.

chamorrobro

These cookies are expensive, so you’re paying for quality. If you’re not getting quality, then it’s either a new cookie or a refund. This is coming from someone who used to work at Starbucks and the policy was to remake drinks until the customer left happy. If I didn’t like that policy, I could’ve quit, but I knew I was getting paid (so absolutely terribly) to follow their rules. Same thing - if the Crumbl bakers don’t like the concept of displaying cookies before handing them off and having to remake bad ones, then they have every right to leave. It’s the policy of the company.

[deleted]

that looks horrible jeez

mochioppai

I got a blueberry one a few weeks ago with a tiny sneeze of icing and no toppings and took it back. they tried to ignore me until i finally was like '???'

AtticusFinch707

(I know it’s not a lot), but the workers get paid on the hour regardless of what they’re doing (plus tips nowadays!). So if their time is being spent redoing a cookie they made a mistake on, it doesn’t make a difference. But do customers get paid on the hour for having to drive back to a store? Nope! So you’re good for speaking up 🙂

Inner-Excitement551

yea that looks gross. don’t be afraid to bring it to their attention when it’s for a legit reason. it’s only complaining if it’s obnoxious and not warranted. so don’t feel bad for just bringing it up, bc that’s not what you paid for

TropicallyMixed80

Whomever made that cookie either doesn't care or they were extremely busy.

Slow_Cartographer994

A million percent right.

[deleted]

I stopped going to crumble after there cookies always seemed to be raw and the prices were ridiculous but when I saw a you tube video of the owner of crumbles being an absolute douche canoe I was done. And you’re right the poor workers get paid nothing.

schmasay

that is one sad looking cookie

Fabulous-Mortgage672

Yea

Due-Guarantee103

Eesh, how is it supposed to look? Another reason Dirty Dough is better. I don't understand how this happens.

Backwoods-hick

We are all overpaying for a niche cookie that is supposed to be super decked out. If it’s not to the standard and doesn’t match the advertisement then damn right you should complain. Just don’t make a habit of it, would be worried they spit on ur cookie next time lol.

Ill-Lifeguard-3209

People who work at crumbl and fuck up making cookies have no chance of doing well at a real job where there are actual consequences for mistakes..

NerdyCooker2

Yes you are, holy moly that's bad *

Live-Assumption9233

Yes, and what the hell is that?

jafromnj

Absolutely

Impressive-Caramel61

yes. These cookies are quite expensive.... I'm sure they wouldn't mind getting you another one as long as you aren't a Karen about it.

Comfortable_Check599

Don’t feel bad if it doesn’t look right to you!! It’s your money and food!

This-Appointment-450

Uh yeah it looks like sick

What?! Why would you say something so racist?

Mission_Front184

I'm black, so it's fine.
