If you entered the same seed phrase, if you click “add new” it will generate a new address, but the addresses it generates (2,3,4 etc) will be the same as on the old computer and your coins should still be there. This is called a “derivation path” and lets you use the same seed to generate any number of addresses

u/LeFabio Did you do it ? That's the solution, people should be aware of that ! When is see the others answers I'm afraid.. Metamask is a good tool, they would have provided you the seed phrase if it was needed.

StatisticalMan

Do you still have the old PC with the old mestmask wallet on it? Do you have the seedphrase for the wallet on the old PC (the one that metamask warned you over and over and over to backup)? If the answer to both is no then you have no crypto.

LeFabio

I do have the seed phrase to the wallet, but can access just a single account on MetaMask, I'm sure I had another one on the same seed.

Maybe the ahitcoins were on different network? Etc. Ethereum vs binance.

They are lost if you dont have the private keys to that account, every time you create a new wallet you are going to store any currency in you need to save the keys for it. most people swear by hardware wallets but the classic way is to just set up a 7zip file and encrypt the text file with a password and store it somewhere safe. An extra step alot of people take is converting them out of plaintext you can use any converter like base56 or something, theres tons of them.
