It's good to see you again, old friend.
When this world turns to ash and no others are left to echo your name, I hope that at least our authors will honor your name.
"As accomplished as he was with his famous curved blade in hand, La Hire was perhaps more well known for his promiscuity; notably beautiful to behold, La Hire had no shortage of lovers. It was often remarked that 'the Lord’s Blade has slayed ten thousand men, and laid ten thousand more'."
\- The SCP-6865 article
I believe the quote is from SCP-6765 article. Although I must warn you it is a long one and it contains *many* terms and references to the overall meta narrative of the SCP universe that may make this particular article difficult if you are not familiar with the universe already.
Additionally further information if la hire, or what he is now, can be found in the SCP-2254 article.
* Hector: the best boy the giga chad (stuck in a tree to disperse a curse on bigfoot)
* Ogier: the man of the hour (giving the scarlet king a big fuck you time out)
* La hire: the sexual harasser/predator/deviant (he makes people have sex and their child is his)
* lancelot: single braincell organism (was angry and jealous and wants lance of longinus but got fucked by some dragons)
Usually it’s called hubs with each one being a ‘major’ canon. BUT there is technically an infinite number of canons because you can mix and match any SCP with eachother. EG: if you just want the main SCPS, that’s a cannon. But you can also have one that’s just the not really important anomalies, or just one SCP.
Hell yeah dude
I have invented the stupidest yet mildly effective strategy ever, when I do a big invasion I bring 20 villagers and then as my army raids the enemy I build a whole ass castle right in front of or inside their city and then immediately garrison all 20 villagers inside the castle when it's done, I call it the machine gun strat
It only works under certain circumstances, but the intent is to not only do a lot of damage but also cause confusion and disbelief because it's funny I mean who other than a moron just moseys up and builds an entire castle on your doorstep
It's so fun. I only use it against AI currently as I refine my strategy but one day I will enact the strategy against other players
Also when I know I'm going to lose I'll make drawings with villagers or other units where I have them in no attack stance and just have them stand in a formation that resembles a dick
WAIT THIS IS A THING???? Dammit I thought I was clever lol
I don't really watch the pro scene, I think I've seen a couple videos about some of the famous (or infamous) players in this game but I don't remember any of them utilizing castles like my machine gun strategy
It's all just me being a dumbass trying to come up with silly things to do in the game, if I'm in a final life or death push I'll summon my horde of villagers to attack as well to just add to the numbers, I usually send them to attack a town center and while they get mowed down pretty fast their numbers help keep the push going just a little further and it can help a lot, if I'm going to die if I fail why not just send in every able bodied unit in to fight
Then I'll send a single villager to build random town centers around the map in weird locations and get all set up so I have multiple options
I feel like a lot of these are just logical
I never figured out how to use those tower thingies you can climb over walls with though
I'm playing through the singleplayer campaigns and I think it's the sforza one that wants you to use a siege tower in one of the missions and I haven't beaten it yet (I have many other ones to do)
The SCP foundation is just really good collaborative fiction. If you like sci Fi I really can't recommend the SCP wiki enough. The exploring series on YouTube is a great place to start.
Omg thanks! I genuinely enjoy getting glimpses of all these exotic fandoms I have no prior awareness of, but I also appreciate getting pointed in the direction of some new thing I may legit enjoy! I love me some sci-fi ramblings, I’ll check this out 😘
If this sounds interesting I recommend checking out “the exploring series” and his [introduction video](https://youtu.be/R9hv6NsWndM?si=duzm1qHF4D7zvKF1) on the SCP foundation. He also has……. Many article readings.
I think that I, SCP-426, have quickly become one of my favorite SCP's to joke about simply because you cannot (accurately) talk about or otherwise reference myself without absolutely confusing anyone who isn't aware of my anomalous properties
Think it’s a reference to Scp-507. It’s about a dimension hopper
Story if too lazy to search it up:
Basically there is a guy who can travel between universes but he has no control over his power. So randomly he would teleport to an alternative Earth and would be stuck there for a random amount of time, he would then teleport back to his original world. One day two appeared at the foundation facility. One was the native and the other the visitor. They refuse to tell the foundation who is who as they knew scientists would likely experiment on the visitor. One eventually teleports away, the one that stayed started laughing and mentioning the weird facts about the others timeline. He then leaned the Abraham Lincoln thing while the foundation learned that dismembered limbs could still teleport
Alright SCP-4999 is one I really fucking love, I forget how you link marv but someone already did it above. One of the big things I like is that it's a really good case of keter ≠ dangerous, and added in with a nice tale and being quite short and it's one of the few SCPs that stuck with me for so long.
SCP-4999 is genuinely one of my favourites. Its not dangerous or deadly, or full of action or horror. Its just a somber story of an anomalous being that spends its time comforting the dying. It just gets to me, y'know? I don't think I could properly explain why.
u/the-paranoid-android Marv, do you still work? SCP-426, SCP-106, SCP-3199, -SCP-021, SCP-4999, SCP-4023, SCP-2316, SCP-096, SCP-507

Thank you, Marv.
I didn't know he worked on this subreddit. That's neat.
You need to call him first
Marv, you beautiful boy
It's good to see you again, old friend. When this world turns to ash and no others are left to echo your name, I hope that at least our authors will honor your name.
The Four Knights of House Apollyon: - Hector, the Stalwart; - Lancelot, the Conqueror; - **La Hire**; - and Ogier, the Faithful.
Explain
"As accomplished as he was with his famous curved blade in hand, La Hire was perhaps more well known for his promiscuity; notably beautiful to behold, La Hire had no shortage of lovers. It was often remarked that 'the Lord’s Blade has slayed ten thousand men, and laid ten thousand more'." \- The SCP-6865 article
That’s the wrong article, thet article is a very interesting article on “life runnning”
I believe the quote is from SCP-6765 article. I’m gonna read this now
* Hector: the best boy the giga chad (stuck in a tree to disperse a curse on bigfoot) * Ogier: the man of the hour (giving the scarlet king a big fuck you time out) * La hire: the sexual harasser/predator/deviant (he makes people have sex and their child is his) * lancelot: single braincell organism (was angry and jealous and wants lance of longinus but got fucked by some dragons)
I believe the canon (essentially the term SCP fandom has for “shared universe”) this comes from is called Project Paragon
The blood on La Hire's sword is almost dry
I was going to say that !
What's your favorite civ to play as
I had some success with mongols, but goth spam against AI is always fun
Hell yeah dude I have invented the stupidest yet mildly effective strategy ever, when I do a big invasion I bring 20 villagers and then as my army raids the enemy I build a whole ass castle right in front of or inside their city and then immediately garrison all 20 villagers inside the castle when it's done, I call it the machine gun strat It only works under certain circumstances, but the intent is to not only do a lot of damage but also cause confusion and disbelief because it's funny I mean who other than a moron just moseys up and builds an entire castle on your doorstep It's so fun. Wow did you really came up with it on your own ? This strategy is sometimes used in pro level, I'm amazed you thought of it without watching videos!
WAIT THIS IS A THING???? Dammit I thought I was clever lol I don't really watch the pro scene, I think I've seen a couple videos about some of the famous (or infamous) players in this game but I don't remember any of them utilizing castles like my machine gun strategy It's all just me being a dumbass trying to come up with silly things to do in the game, if I'm in a final life or death push I'll summon my horde of villagers to attack as well to just add to the numbers, I usually send them to attack a town center and while they get mowed down pretty fast their numbers help keep the push going just a little further and it can help a lot, if I'm going to die if I fail why not just send in every able bodied unit in to fight Then I'll send a single villager to build random town centers around the map in weird locations and get all set up so I have multiple options I feel like a lot of these are just logical I never figured out how to use those tower thingies you can climb over walls with though
I never used siege towers either, it's quite situational
I'm playing through the singleplayer campaigns and I think it's the sforza one that wants you to use a siege tower in one of the missions and I haven't beaten it yet (I have many other ones to do)
I think it's even more clever to figure it out yourself and then find out others are using it too
Y'know, you're right, that's kind of a crazy coincidence though
I believe the canon (essentially the term SCP fandom has for “shared universe”) this comes from is called Project Paragon
Reluctant dimension hopper is such a fun SCP you gotta feel bad for the guy that got dissected cause booth assassinated Lincoln
Wasn't Lincoln a T-Rex?
I have no idea what’s going on and I would have it no other way.
The SCP foundation is just really good collaborative fiction. If you like sci Fi I really can't recommend the SCP wiki enough. The exploring series on YouTube is a great place to start.

The SCP Foundation Database podcast is also great
TheVolgun is also good if you just want dramatic readings and not in-depth analysis.
Im a big fan of the Volgan, even as someone who reads the wiki regularly

Same. I love vibing in ignorance

i see what you did there in trying to confuse people about my existence and function

Did you know that world-renowned writer Stephen King was once hit by a car? Just something to consider.
