i live in a kibbutz on the Mediterranean sea, and let me tell you.
the life of a stray cat here isnt some romantic thing, but a life of malnourishment, injuries and death at an early age
No they’re not. This is awful to suggest. Across the med, there’s millions of strays, all malnourished, many injured, most barely hanging on to life. So yes, there might be a few happy domestic cats but for every one, there’s hundreds of strays
Yeah live in the Mediterranean area. ( Little way from the sea but still) all of these cats aren't stray I can tell by they clean paws. Dirty paws are the best indicator that's a cat have to spend more time hunting and seeking food than washing themself.
They are everywhere. You shake a bag of food too much accidentally while unloading the grocery's and twenty come out.
I luckily managed to somewhat slow the stray in my small village but dumbass be dumbass and let they cat go outside, un-neuter. It's stupid and tragic cause they call us randomly saying they don't know why they sweet kitty has given birth in there bed. Stupid.
I know this post isn't ment to be serious but send a lil money to your local rescues and adopte if you can give em a good life. I cannot alas cause I have 5 cats, 2 of them being strays and not liking other cats much.
Mostly they're hungry and have mites but I've definitely seen strays who are well fed and loved by the community, particularly in Istanbul (Turkey) and Larnaca (Cyprus). In Larnaca there was one delightful orange and white chonk who would come trotting up for skritches as soon as s/he saw you leaning down.
It is really lovely to see cats just napping on ancient Greek ruins though.
That's where you're reincarnated if you get your karma high enough.
Is 200,000 enough? I need to know if I should keep commenting
each reddit karma u gain actually deducts one from ur actual karma
That would explain why there are so many trolls.
Get to heaven through the negative integer switch loophole

i can imagine the cats saying, "Hey, I'm just a little kat" these mediterranean cats
Keep your cats inside, folks.
These aren't owned. There are a lot of stray cats on the streets there and you can see them everywhere
This looked way too much like the Google captcha and triggered some primal emotional fight or flight response in me
Neat
