Neuta-Isa

I am a little brown bat. Also *god,* the mourning doves are freaking everywhere where I live. At almost any moment I can look out the window and see one.

[deleted]

I get lucky and see Red Tailed Hawks every now and then

meat-bird

They make such a neat noise! I love birds

Neuta-Isa

They used to take our chickens. Now we don’t keep chickens.

[deleted]

Exact reason why my cat stays inside

idiotplatypus

cryptic-coyote

KiyanStrider

Hellfireunicorn120

Just pillbug vibes

pterrorgrine

Ain't nothin' underappreciated about red-tail hawks in my house! That's Tobias from Animorphs right there!

Jely710

Ay where's my boy Pine Marten

ButterBeeFedora

i love watching the mourning dove couples that live around my house, they are very big and not smart and they scare the other birds

CwenLeornes

they’re so dumb, their alarm coo when they get surprised and flap away is so stupidly cute they’re not my favorite birds or anything but I do love them

TNikiu_Minecraft

I am a leafcutter bee. I love them so much and it's also because that's the embodiment of me.

ToasterDirective

Morning dove babey

Leipurinen

42reasons2panic

Gray fox 100%

UkrainianGrooveMetal

I’m a longnose gar, but I have something to add to the Red-Tailed Hawk: Secretly fighting a guerrilla war against alien invaders with the help of his friends, also the secret son of a different alien

AmbitionLower7456

Spinning-In-Circles

New Mexican Whiptail but replace Lesbian with Pan

Raspoint

I heard a story somewhere about how if you catch enough gar and lay them in a field it manifests into a light, red feline. Funny story.

Captain_Clam

I am a Mourning Dove, with a side of bee I guess?

Anna_Pet

I’m like most of these wtf

alphabet_order_bot

Would you look at that, all of the words in your comment are in alphabetical order. I have checked 303,688,759 comments, and only 68,045 of them were in alphabetical order.

Anna_Pet

Nerd

MorbidMongoose

Fun fact: that intense eagle screech sound in movies/TV is actually a red-tailed hawk's cry! Bald eagles have much more chirpy vocalizations and sound honestly not dissimilar to sea gulls.

potatowithaheartbeat

Leafcutter bee is... uncannily accurate.

MGTwyne

Mourning dove

oswin_fisher

I'm either a little brown bat or a mourning dove

Lionblaze_03

I volunteered at a local science center taking care of the local animals they had in tanks for kids to learn about. The tiger salamanders were the bane of my existence. See, they’re incredibly stupid, but also require extremely moist substrate. Like, pouring in half a gallon of water and mixing it up in gloves hands moist. Problem is, as soon as you opened the lid, they were CONVINCED they were being fed and absolutely certain that your fingers were the food. So they’d be constantly trying to bite me while I tried to mix up the substrate. Now I’m sure I wouldn’t care that much, having a leopard gecko that’s crunched on my fingers a couple times, but back then I was definitely intimidated.

joejoe210

Tiger salamander yeeeeet

Arkane21

A mourning dove lives above my garden it’s named Sardine

[deleted]

Omg, Im a Leafcutter Bee

DucksLikeKelp

somewhere between leafcutter bee and mourning dove

A_Jack_of_Herrons

I am all of these in one aspect or another.

[deleted]

Somehow I'm a pillbug, a little brown bat, a whiptail, and a leafcutter bee. But I think out of all of them, I'm the pillbug the most.

santyrc114

Common pillbug

philandere_scarlet

entire top row

Main_Course_9736

shegoesbycam

Mourning doves overrated af. Idc how cool they sound they wake me up on the weekends.

IJsandwich

I was surprised roly polies would be native to america but (possibly unreliable?) sources say they were introduced from Europe. Greater surprise tho that mourning doves actually are american. Before this I would have sworn that waking up on a weekend and hearing one oowowoooowooo on top of your house would be an experience in europe too

AggronLord

bat be i

QwahaXahn

You serious? Anyone who’s read Animorphs appreciates the Red-Tailed Hawk.
