I'm confused why Warren actually became a worm. And also Yellow Guy was already feeling out of it before Warren entered his brain, so not sure why the solution to remove Warren made Yellow Guy recover.
This episode redeemed Colin for me- I couldn't stand him in YT Episode 4 but he proveed himself to be a funny character here.
That's a feeling I'm actually getting about a lot of characters in this show. Even if I didn't like them in the YT series, they're better here.
Does anyone know what Yellow Guy is calling out in the dark near the end when he goes into the deepest brain level just before giant malformed Warren shows up? I’ve replayed it a couple of times but haven’t been able to make it out well enough to be at all certain.
Well, of course just after I play it AGAIN I think he says “Warren? Warren? Warren? Where are you?” But what giant Warren says I can’t make out. I think the laughing is Duck but I’m not sure.
Definitely my favorite one yet! I interpret this as being largely about daydreaming/dissociation as a means to deal with overwhelming emotions and an inability to process them. Yellow guy's imaginary friends were so good. I loved the bubblebath memory one so much for some reason.
Warren was weak compared to the others. The other teachers could manipulate the universe, warp them into different places, and get the three to listen whether they wanted to or not.
But they always noticed when Warren 'paused time', and he had to bring a projection for his backstory and not the lesson.
No doubt because he didn't actually work for the 'OK, Stop' organization.
Just something I noticed that I thought to share unless someone else came to this conclusion before me. Also, when he said he was an eagle, I immediately thought, "They're going to throw him out and an eagle's going to tear him apart." But no! This show always surprised me!
i think warrens true form is the huge version duck stabs in the eye. and that he can shape shift. like he's bigger than yellows ear how would he fit into his brain when hes 3 times the size of it
My favourite part was "jumping the lump". It felt like the nonsense a childlike mind would conjure, and then "you should probably have it checked out". Hello denial, we meet again!
I feel like this episode had some of the best quotes and moments, but also some of the worst. When I really think about it, all the funniest/best moments of the episode happened when Warren wasn't on screen, which was........ sadly a small minority of the episode. I get he was supposed to be annoying, but I genuinely felt like he lessened my viewing experience lol. I also thought some of the implications of this episode were a bit weird/questionable. I'd have to say this one is my least favorite, however my least favorite episode of a great show, so that doesn't mean it was horrendous or anything.
Workplace Training Videos, when actors are playing out a situation where they're behaving badly in the workplace, and then the video will stop and someone will come on screen and say "Did you see what they did wrong?"
Funny that the computer interrupted the globe at first, and now the computer is being interrupted (i wonder if we'll ever see that globe again btw)
Ive been loving all the refrences to the old series thus far but this one takes the cake, feels like a direct sequel to ep 4 (now that I think about it, are all of these linked in some way to their ogs?), and the bee line is funny as well. Was kinda hoping to see them to reference digital dancing tho
I really like all the jokes theyve been making about the audience, the one with their names was really funny
It seems to be the least liked episode in general, but it's the most hilarious one to me with the best quotes and I love how it parodies anti-bullying vids. I also love how we got to see inside yellow guy's brain with all his brain friends who create this dumb ass paradise of dumbness for him. The computer bits were hilarious too of course. 10/10 OK STOP!
I said this one other place but my theory about warren is that he is supposed to represent toxic friendships. His narcissistic and clingy tendencies seem to support this.
Even his final form in the ending can be seen as his true colors.
WHY IS NO ONE TALKING ABOUT SOMEBODY LOOKING THROUGH A HOLE IN THE WALL IN THE OPENING CREDITS. It scared the shit out of me. Right after showing the pictures of them on the fridge the camera pans quickly to the right and as it’s panning you can see somebody’s eye through a hole in the wall
Okay so this is probably just me overthinking but was the implication that red and duck called yellow guy a slur? It’s probably really obvious and definitely not the most notable thing about the episode and that’s why no one mentioned it but I just can’t tell for sure. Just seems like they were saying he can’t be blamed for how stupid he is because of whatever he is.
People being righteous on social media while in fact it's all about them, people who pretends to be eagle while they are obviously worms...You name it.
It’s about people like Warren, who rather than reflect on themselves and their behavior attach to others in a parasitic manner and manipulate and guilt trip to retain friends. They truly are lonely, but unfortunately can’t have true friends because there is no self reflection, only desperately and pathetically manipulating to make everything about them
Did anyone notice that when the footage reverses in the beginning, you can see two humans repositioning Duck & Red Guy? You can also catch Red Guy repositioning his head, are the Duck and Red Guy actors?
Edit: Yellow Guy is being restationed too, though Red Guy is straight up being worn!
I agree, but what does it mean? In the following episodes, Red Guy talks about rebelling against the show, but if he's just a guy in a costume, what's really going on? Show-ception?
Ahh, questions like these are just reminders that DHMIS is BACK BABY!
Duck's a lowkey psycho. Killing his clone without a thought (unless it's the clone now who's replaced him), killing that piece of toast without a second thought and ignoring its screams, then wanting to look at a skeleton on the dark web. Bonus is revealing he's been forging documents that have led to people's deaths. The foreshadowing to his dark side is getting more obvious as even Yellow noticed that last one and did a double-take. I wonder if it has anything to do with his heart that fell out and turned into the coffin? As in, he literally lost his heart or his heart died which has led to him becoming "heartless" in nature now?
In the intro in the first episode duck had a drill in the photo. In the second, the pink boy had slime around their picture, and when they became another duck, they still had the slime. In every episode after, the duck had slime around them, which confirms the original duck is dead and we’re watching the clone.
The intro since Episode 1 always had the photo of Duck painting with the pink "slime" on the fridge. The drill photo only appeared in the reenactment near the end of Episode 2.
With that said, in the first reenactment in the middle of Episode 2, we do see Stain Edwards (the blob who later became CloneDuck) already emulating the action of their predecessor with their photo on the fridge, in the same spot as Duck. So it's possible that the seemingly identical photo in the original spot is actually a representation of Stain fully replicating Duck's life to a tee and that the extra drill photo was the original coming back from the dead (and towards it later lol).
But that's a stretch.
All and all, the drill photo never was in Episode 1.
True. The clone theory replacing him is also possible since when he cut up the other Duck, it didn't morph back into the pink blob and seemed to have all the anatomical innards of Duck rather than... well, a pink blob's innards.
Something I do want to point out tho is that stain was only conceived to yellow guy as "claymation" yet we see on the kit stain came from one of the items include flesh stain is the only thing in the kit that has at least some representation of that meaning that stain can bleed not to mention but when coffin cuts og ducks finger off its noted that he doesn't bleed and emits smoke unlike the less fortunate yellow who does the same but starts gushing
In the first episode he's in one side of the coin at the end. And now that you mention it, in the second one I also couldn't find him. I think that's when I noticed him on the intro (since it plays like three times, LOL) and thought that was his appearence for that particular episode.
Lots of pent up rage with this group. I wonder if it's them losing their minds being stuck in a room together every episode, which is their constant reality. Everyday is a purgatory in that room together, having crazy things happen to them that are completely out of their control.
Or as Red put it; "We live in an actual NIIIGHTMAAARE!"
That last song is about them being out of their mind with a worm in their brain.
Well, sure they can. But to mention "Strange that a computer would say that since it's something freelancers rely on to work... but then again, they can also work as carpet fitters and welders and traveling midwives and woodworkers and...etc." would take a long time to write out, you see. I hope that makes more sense.
Though it is fair to say that no matter what the industry, they still rely on the internet to connect them to customers via their LinkedIn, personal website, a showcase of work, and so on. Rarely is it only at the local level by word of mouth anymore even if they do trade shows or other events.
I see what you're going for, but it is a bit confusing saying "freelancers work on computers" as that gives some kind of exceptionalism to freelancers - like there's a specific reason why freelancers need to work on computers.
I love how the computer comes back for this episode, and the brain segment was neat. And I still love Red Guy not just using his normal deadpan voice.
"And we live in an actual nightMAAAA**AAAARE!!!!!**"
I love you too, Colin. And your brutal insults to that pesky bee. Loving having the side characters from the original episodes having roles in this.
That was a very... sudden twist to the ending. I'm happy we didn't have visuals to that sound.
I know my man did not just call colin "the computer"
Fuck Warren.
I'm confused why Warren actually became a worm. And also Yellow Guy was already feeling out of it before Warren entered his brain, so not sure why the solution to remove Warren made Yellow Guy recover.
“Don’t touch mEeeeEEE”
This episode redeemed Colin for me- I couldn't stand him in YT Episode 4 but he proveed himself to be a funny character here. That's a feeling I'm actually getting about a lot of characters in this show. Even if I didn't like them in the YT series, they're better here.
Yeah, the teachers just mellow out the second they're off the clock.
“I WAS DEALING WITH IT!”
What does Yellow Guy say at 20:26-20:34? I’ve been trying to figure it out
I know this is late but he says "Where are you? Warren? Warren!? Where are you?"
I was too lazy to say I figured it out later but still BABY YELLOW
Oh! And yeah I felt bad for poor Yellow in this episode. He deserves to be happy.
Something about only needing one friend
Definitely my favorite one yet! I interpret this as being largely about daydreaming/dissociation as a means to deal with overwhelming emotions and an inability to process them. Yellow guy's imaginary friends were so good. I loved the bubblebath memory one so much for some reason.
Remember when Sketchbook said "listen to the voicrs in your brain"? Hmm 🤔
Leslie hired warren, so red and green stoped bullying yellow.
Warren was weak compared to the others. The other teachers could manipulate the universe, warp them into different places, and get the three to listen whether they wanted to or not. Def the scariest, I wanted to see what inside the brain friend’s brain friend’s brain looked like
My favourite part was "jumping the lump". It felt like the nonsense a childlike mind would conjure, and then "you should probably have it checked out". Hello denial, we meet again!
That was the funniest ep so far for me. I lost it every time the worm came up and said OK STOP
I feel like this episode had some of the best quotes and moments, but also some of the worst. When I really think about it, all the funniest/best moments of the episode happened when Warren wasn't on screen, which was........ sadly a small minority of the episode. “How surprised do you think he’d be if I started wearing a bandanna? Coworker of mine wears a bandanna and I think it looks jussgrehhhhyte.”
"Wow. 2 million results." "Well that's too many. Let's give up." Dr. Bushman also underrated character in this.
Is the yellow guy actually a yellow girl? "RATEYES! My maiden name" Also, they were made Mother in the Family ep. What do you think?
I think it said middle name. Also, Yellow Guy had a child in Jobs so I highly doubt he's a girl
I heard maiden name.
I just rewatched it and I hear Duck say maiden name.
Is OK Stop a reference to anything in particular, and if so, what?

Workplace Training Videos, when actors are playing out a situation where they're behaving badly in the workplace, and then the video will stop and someone will come on screen and say "Did you see what they did wrong?"
It’s so familiar it hurts

i saw the globe on a window sill, eyes and everything, but i forget which episode it was
is the worm runforthecube???
The Brain Friends section reminded me of Omori
By far my favourite episode.
It seems to be the least liked episode in general, but it's the most hilarious one to me with the best quotes and I love how it parodies anti-bullying vids. I also love how we got to see inside yellow guy's brain with all his brain friends who create this dumb ass paradise of dumbness for him. Cuz it’s in every episode not just this one
I know that but is that not worth talking about?
Sorry I thought you were implying it for specifically this ep
Somebody??? You put some respect on Roy’s name
You’re right my apologies
Okay so this is probably just me overthinking but was the implication that red and duck called yellow guy a slur? It’s probably really obvious and definitely not the most notable thing about the episode and that’s why no one mentioned it but I just can’t tell for sure. Just seems like they were saying he can’t be blamed for how stupid he is because of whatever he is.
I interpreted it as “fucking cunt”
The syllable count suggests ‘fucking retard’ and it fits the context.
for some reason i really feel like they were saying “a fucking bitch” but that may just be because the amount of syllables are the same
what do you think the message in this one was? cause i cant begin to wrap my head around the moral unlike all the other ones
People being righteous on social media while in fact it's all about them, people who pretends to be eagle while they are obviously worms...You name it.

Anyone else notice the imaginary shy brother is one of the background characters in the pilot?
Mr blobby worm
PESKY BEE!

Exactly what I was thinking. :)
Colin the Computer was ironically such a nice friend in this one
Duck's a lowkey psycho. that's the superego for you. Independent, bossy, enforcing nonsensical rules
In the intro in the first episode duck had a drill in the photo. In the second, the pink boy had slime around their picture, and when they became another duck, they still had the slime. RealDuck had a lower neckline than CloneDuck, so I think it's RealDuck who's with us now.
The dead duck had maggots in its flesh so i assume the duck we have now is the clone
True. The clone theory replacing him is also possible since when he cut up the other Duck, it didn't morph back into the pink blob and seemed to have all the anatomical innards of Duck rather than... well, a pink blob's innards.

We learned Bird's name is one of the Symbols on the book in the final ep when they click his key on the computer at the start.
I think that the word, might be, bird. Bird, bird, bird. Bird is the word.
I need more Yunfurdinker content
That ending was chaos lmao. Glad to see Colin back though, and it seems like everyone’s on good terms now.
so were gonna ignore what happened in the credits
I’m actually wanting to know what they were saying during the fight wen it became black
They were shooting nonsense after each other while the violence escalates.
Did anyone see Roy in this ep? I managed to catch him in the all the other episodes, but not on this one
He was too busy sleeping off his most recent meal.
Wait, where was he in the first 3?
You can also see him in jobs where yellow guys builds the cabin you can see him slightly blurred in there
In the first episode he's in one side of the coin at the end. And now that you mention it, in the second one I also couldn't find him. I think that's when I noticed him on the intro (since it plays like three times, LOL) and thought that was his appearence for that particular episode.
I can definitely tell you where he's at in the third episode.
Colin’s interjections were my favourite part of the episode
“I’M DEALING WITH IT!!” *smashes glass bottle* Favourite part of the episode! Caught me totally off guard!
What did they actually say to each other during the fight ?
Lots of pent up rage with this group. I wonder if it's them losing their minds being stuck in a room together every episode, which is their constant reality. Everyday is a purgatory in that room together, having crazy things happen to them that are completely out of their control. Or as Red put it; "We live in an actual NIIIGHTMAAARE!" When they all start insulting the worm and even the computer joins in saying he looks like a “tumour” hahahaha
Didn’t really like this episode tbh, I feel like it went on for too long. Red Guys screaming in the beginning made it worth it tho.
He’s not a worm he’s an eagle 😤
"I'LL KILL YOU" "oh really?!" at the very end was awesome
Red Guy sounds like he's daring him, somehow.
Have you seen that Red Guy is actually a tattooed guy???
Yep! https://i.imgur.com/ieFZRGt.jpg
"And the worm in my brain makes me think that the documents I've been forging have led to many deaths." brilliant.
Jimmy McGill when [SPOILER SPOILER SPOILER]

Freelancers deserve to die… 🙂
Strange that a computer would say that since it's something freelancers rely on to work.
probably a self deprecating joke made by the creators
Oh yeah, good possibility.
It's something a lot of people rely on to work...
Yes, but it was talking about freelancers specifically. Stating that freelancers work on the computer doesn't mean others *don't*, no. That's a given.
What about freelance carpet fitters? Any industry can have freelancers
Well, sure they can. But to mention "Strange that a computer would say that since it's something freelancers rely on to work... but then again, they can also work as carpet fitters and welders and traveling midwives and woodworkers and...etc." would take a long time to write out, you see. No, not really. Sorry if you saw it that way though.
What a weird conversation to have on this thread
It is, I agree. I've never been so questioned about this type of thing.

I love you too, Colin. And your brutal insults to that pesky bee. Loving having the side characters from the original episodes having roles in this. That was a very... sudden twist to the ending. I'm happy we didn't have visuals to that sound.
It helps conserve the budget while also making it wacky and over the top.
