Remove (or have it removed), and toss that piece of crap in the trash. It was garbage when it was installed.
This is the perfect excuse to install a real unit that works. Look at the Panasonic WhisperFan. It is powerful, damn near silent, and it will outlast you.
All I can suggest is to watch some YouTube videos. It took me about three hours a bathroom to install; removal of the old one, installing the new one, and replacing the ductwork.
Of course, no two homes are built the same, so installation times will vary. But in the end the results speak for themselves. You’ll kick yourself for not doing this replacement years ago.
Hell yeah thanks for the link.
.
Didn't know I have to do the work from the attic haha this is gonna suck during this heat. Plus it's very near the edge of the house and there's very little room up there and the insulation was replaced recently so there's even less space. Wish us luck!

How easy is the install on something like this? One of mine is going out, and I was thinking of just replacing all of them.

Yeah YouTube is the way to go. Half the time I just need an example of what not to do. 😂
Hahaha thank you!! I'll definitely look that one up and hopefully I can figure out how to change it so we don't have to pay anyone labor
You can also just change the motor, maybe a ten minute job.
Interesting! 🤔 Do you have any videos to point me to about that?
Here's a video https://youtu.be/wirAluBEIfA?si=JDL4gb4PWEX5ziap I probably replaced a 100 or more when I did apartment maintenance.
Amazing, thank you so much!
You'll need access from above the ceiling. I only use Panasonic exhaust fan, quiet and long lasting [https://amzn.to/3WaTeuR](https://amzn.to/3WaTeuR)
