The mini-3 is my first "real" drone. I can say that I wish I had gotten the pro for obstacle avoidance and some of the other tracking features but aside from that, it is a VERY good drone. Non-commercial, I literally just did a roof inspection of work done today, ironically. Here in SOCAL/LA area, I get about a mile in dense areas/non-ideal conditions (flying it from our deck/patio), 2+ miles with better line of sight and over the coast line, and 3ish miles in open/over the water areas. For commercial inspection in short 1ish mile areas, I think you'd be totally fine and the 4k camera is nothing short of amazing. If you're going close into tight spaces/trees etc - the pro may be the way to go for better obstacle avoidance. My $.02

I own a mini 3 with the 4k 30 great video and pictures Your range well for me in the United States you can easily go mile in town and out in the farm lands with no building or Wi-Fi towers you can get 3 miles easily And remote ID only with the plus battery you will have remote ID because of weight But I love my mini 3

It’s a great drone. Other than that trying to download videos and photos. I have watched countless hours on how to do quick transfers, but still can’t get it to work
