From the way this journey has gone, I think saying "be patient" is a no-brainer, but be patient. He'll have a lot of stimuli he isn't used to and may have knee-jerk reactions to the other pups out of habit/necessity

Due to his previous situation, he may be protective of his food (at first or permanently) around other dogs. I think he is sweet as pie, and I don't think you will have any issues integrating him into your pack. But just something to keep an eye out and help his transition.

He does some things that make me think maybe he had a human family at one point. When he was eating the food out of your hand and taking treats, it looked like he had been trained for “soft mouth” so he wasn’t nipping you.
Now that he trusts you, he may warm up pretty quickly and be happy to settle right in with your “pack.” Though it does remain a question how he’ll handle other dogs, because he may see them as “competitors” now since he’s been on his own.

I don't suppose he has a microchip? I used to take strays to the vet to check and half the time the dog had been lost and owners were ecstatic to be reunited.

Even so a smart dog like that you can put a muzzle on and show them what it's like to be part of the pack without the snapping. Works very well on rescues that are smart enough to know what they want.
Great Pyrenees doggos do that. Both of mine do. It’s mad cute.

Had a black lab like this, “Hold my paw” were his favorite words. He’d stick his hand out for you to grab. Gone just about exactly a year now. RIP to a real one

Just watched all your videos and now I’m crying, just recently had a similar experience with a stray kitten in the bush by my house and I know how amazing of a feeling it is to gain an animals trust like that.
Take him to a vet sooner rather than later, but be careful not to overwhelm him right away, keep going back to that spot for at least a few days with him on a leash and let him smell some familiar smells, it might make the transition period a bit easier. Just be careful because he might run off, just keep giving him food and love and he will return the affection 10x very soon.

If you are not a first time owner or confident in your dog body language skills disregard. If dusty is your first doggo, read up on body language for dogs. My family didnt know about this and now we have a 2 year old golden retreiver who will badly bite us if we pet him at the wrong time. Not all dogs are consistantly affectionate, this dog was showing signs of not wanting touching, by licking his lips, and freezing.
Yaaaaaaaa I didn’t want to be THAT person because OP means well but ya Dusty did not want to be touched lol. Even the paw on his hand that everyone is mistaking for Dusty ‘reaching for his hand’ lol is actually Dusty saying ‘no thank you’, no pets please. Even the hand licking is called appeasement licking. The best thing to do with Dusty in this case is not to pet him at all and wait for him to make the first move instead of constantly reaching out.
OP means super well though so is hard to get mad at it plus dog body language can look confusing.

I had to say goodbye to my own Dusty (his name was Bruce- named after batman cause he was hit by a car and then he got up and walked away like the badass dog he was) a year ago. Miss that good boy everyday.
I’m in tears watching this. Not exactly sure of the time frame, but in the last 3~4 days, Milwaukee - where I live - had been slammed with 14” of snow and then subzero temps and even colder wind chills. If you’ve gotten the same type of weather, this guy couldn’t have possibly survived. I have two Golden Retrievers and won’t let them stay outside for more than three minutes in this weather. You saved a life. God Bless you - you are a kind, loving man. The world needs more people like you. Dusty, your guardian angel was really watching over you. Your former family? Hell has a special place for rotten POS like them.

It might take some time, just gotta put in a bit of work to get them greeted. Let them sniff each other through doors for awhile. It can be done!
It’s also great to introduce their scent through toys the other dogs use, or a bed, blanket, etc.
