I don’t know, but the truck hit the trailer and stopped, I don’t think the outcome was good … hopefully there is some evidence of who they are to bring them to justice.
Pretty sure the truck driver was shot several times since he drove right into the trailer shortly after the gunshots, and then just silence. No reverse, no door opening, no honking, no shooting back. The kid in the red shirt recording everything also calmly walked over to the truck. Doubt he’s doing that unless he has a good sense the driver is done. Probably wants to post a photo of the driver on tiktok.
Not sure what happened after that, but my guess is he didn’t make it to the hospital in time. Hopefully the guy in the truck was a serial killer and these kids were trying to make a citizens arrest. But we know that’s prob not the case.
It was a parking spot related act of violence/s (these TX parking spots shooting are too common … is very safe to always assume everyone in TX is packing)
I don’t know if that’s accurate at all. This looks like an ambush and this town is known for drug/gang//cartel activity. There’s no news on this either somehow so I will keep believing until I see otherwise.
I didn’t see any glass break and the lady *I think* said something about a tire getting popped so maybe they just shot out the tires. But it seems likely that some shots went through the body of the truck which could very easily have hit someone(s) inside.
Bullets can go through car windows and shatter them without fully breaking them. From the distance the video was shot, you probably wouldn't be able to tell the glass was shattered.
Not to mention, bullets cut through a car's sheet metal like it's nothing. Black truck, 50 yards away, you wouldn't see the bullet holes, either.
I’ll say it again, it’s so sad what Southeast Dallas and Pleasant Grove have turned into. It was solidly blue collar 25+ years ago. Now, it’s the ghetto in its purest form. Just driving down Buckner Blvd is depressing as hell. Empty big box stores and former chain restaurants/retail with trash littered on the streets. Just the decline from the year 2000 is staggering.
Former grove resident - Elam and Masters. Was a nice neighborhood, but right behind our house (2000s) were the 1950s houses, with chickens. Went back couple years ago, it's like mold has grown over the 2000 houses from the 1950s houses and the new ones all have bars on the windows. That lets you know
Yep. I have seen the bars on homes too. But I saw signs of decline once Kroger left from Pleasant Grove Shopping Center on Buckner in the 2000s. Then the other retailers began to pullout of the area. I use to go to church in Pleasant Grove on Bruton, slightly past Masters. We shared a church building with a predominately white church in The Grove. They owned the building, but left and sold because a lot of the parishioners moved out of Pleasant Grove to Mesquite and Forney. They rebuilt their church in that area. This was like in 2001ish.
I grew up in the Grove…lived in the apartment complex across the street from the old Kroger at Bruton and Masters… then to a house on Masters, just a few houses north of Elam. Can confirm, we had a lot of chickens! HA! The roosters made sure I knew the sun was coming up. If we were neighbors…my apologies. I didn’t sleep well for weeks once we moved off of a busy street. It was too quiet. Make no mistake, I go back often for Gonzalez. It’s just so good.
This can be said for so many neighborhoods around the country. The neighborhood I grew up in Mesquite in the 80s-90s was your typical suburban neighborhood. Over the last 10-15yrs, it has taken a turn for the worst for various reasons. "White flight" is a real thing. This set of demographic moves out and hands it off to a lesser demographic who brings a different element. A lot of socioeconomic aspects at play.
Agreed. I grew up in the part that sits right by Far East Dallas. Never was a fancy area by any means but it was a quiet, middle class area. Completely changed now. My grandpa still lives over there so I still visit. My old street looks completely different now. So much of Mesquite is like this.
Dude, it’s been longer than 25 years. My parents both grew up in the grove—from the 40s to the 60s. I was born in 70 and we lived there until I was 7.
According to my mom it was awesome back in the day.
That’s why I said 25+. It wasn’t nearly as bad, but it was generally a pretty decent place to live. There was crime (like any place in Dallas) but it wasn’t outrageous. Then, I didn’t hear a lot of people view it as the hood, like they do now. It accelerated very quickly down hill in the 2000s, I will admit that. The manifestation of a decline is when national/big box chains and chain restaurants leave without being replaced with a similar equivalent. All of that has occurred in The Grove since 2000.
I lived in the Grove for a few months (I was clueless to the danger and followed a bf there) and lived at Buckner and Scyene in 1991 and it was not safe at all. Gunshots and high crime. Saw a car being stolen in a grocery store parking lot at Lake June and Lake June in broad daylight with lots of people around.
Part of me thinks it must be very nice to give 0 fucks. Like how crazy do you have to be to start blasting at people in broad daylight? Does the thought of spending your life in a cage ever cross these peoples minds?
I grew up with a guy like that from elementary school to mid 20’s. He was the meanest MF’er in town, and didn’t give a shit about repercussions. Whole family was that way. Hell, he broke my nose after church (in the parking lot) when I was a teenager. I looked him up a few years ago, and he’s been in prison a few times, and county more times than I cared to count.
Had a friend growing up that was similar he didn’t give a fuck and he had some weird glorification and obsession with the gangster lifestyle. He got kicked out of school in 8th grade for dealing and I would see him every couple of years and after his expulsion he got involved with bad people and started gang banging for real had two kids and was out there living his dream I suppose until about 2011-12 he was out at a club and got into an altercation with a group he had beef with as he was leaving they drive up and gunned him down he was only 20. It was sad because before all that he was actually a decent kid. I think the nicest though so sad take is he loved the idea of being a gangster his whole life and at least he died doing what he loved.
Not at all. They don't have the mindset of a normal citizen. They don't fear jail/prison. In fact, most have accepted they will end up there at some point or dead. Maybe both. That is the life they chose. So many of their friends and family would be in jail/prison waiting for them. The police doesn't scare them.
Could be desperation or stupidity. Most likely they’ve just been about criminal life for a while now. Crime can be a slippery slope. For example you could have a kid start selling weed, and then move on to other drugs. Then before they know it they are dealing larger amounts and keeping a gun for protection and they end up having to use it at a deal gone bad.
Not saying at all that’s what happened here, just that I’m sure these kids didn’t start out able to execute someone in public with no anxiety of prison. Repeated success in smaller crimes can give you more confidence to start taking more and more risks.
If they are anything like the two hooligans I had to spend a night with in the drunk tank, they know full well where they are headed and are betting who gets a life sentence first. Some people know the consequences and don't give a damn anyway, often enough because they don't have a reason to.
Not a fan of this being posted, pretty sure we just watched a murder in broad daylight. But, hopefully this video can somehow, someway, get those kids found. Geesus.
Thank fuggin god other people have the sense to say that truth matters more than positive thinking and "good vibes only" censorship.
If we say it enough, maybe the news will show news again.
This should be on every television in the city, the entire community should be forced to watch this until we actually enforce laws again. If we enforce laws people never get to this step, they may spend their life in prison but this is the alternative
Since when? This was Pleasant Grove.. Police show up and collect the bodies after the shooting stops and the news doesn't care.. That has been the norm for PG forever This is an improvement from the 80's and 90's.

Instead of making jokes about the area of Dallas this was, perhaps we should keep bothering the police and local politicians about this until they prioritize finding these men, instead of allowing them to write it off as 'normal for the area'?
Someone was able to get a clear video of the event, and there's no way the store there doesn't have cameras on the lot.

Maybe some kind of control on the Easy Bullet Insertion Devices? I think if criminals had to run up to their victim and push the bullet into their skin it would substantially slow down some of this action.

Sure, but if police find them on persons and in homes when doing random stops and serve search warrants for other issues, they can confiscate and make arrests. When they are illegal means if you have it on you when you are stopped then they have probable cause. The more people who have them confiscated and arrested when not shooting someone prevents them from shooting the next person they would have shot. It's just one more obstacle. It's not about keeping them from obtaining them entirely, but rather giving the police a reason to arrest them for having it on them at all. It's all about adding as many obstacles as they can to make it harder for them to get away with it and easier to get caught. It's always about adding just " one more thing" they can nab them on. Making it easier for the police to get those who intend harm off the streets saves lives in itself.
It's not about criminals caring, its about the ability of the police to confiscate them when they find them on people. If the police stop them at any time or are serving search warrants at homes for other things, confiscate them and make more arrests, thus preventing more murders in the process. Mass shootings have climbed since the ban was lifted on high capacity magazines.
Do criminals have special access or something? If there are leas in circulation, criminals will have less, too.
Not to mention that criminals don't just not care about the law. They pick and choose crimes based on reward and convenience. Even Gangs don't just run around doing whatever because they are criminals...

I’ve made my children vow to place me on a tee shirt with me in a cloud smiling as well as only 90s pop hits for all occasions. This should be at least 50 years in the future but planning is everything.
my first memories living in this neighborhood is the gas station clerk getting killed down the road from this location. That was the 90's. Sad to see my hometown get worse every decade or so. Still love it though and if you mind your business you'll be ok. No matter where you are at be on the look out and get out the way as fast as you can.
I couldn't find this on any local news, or the DFW Scanner group.

So much of the southern sector of Dallas is ignored by the media. It's why people think crime is so much worse now days because they see it all over these social media outlets. Crime has actually went down since the 80/90s. Majority of the crime in the southern sector gets ignored unless it's posted like this.
If someone came to texas, and decided to visit pleasant grove, are they just fucking stupid?
Lifetime Texan, and you couldn't fucking pay me to go to pleasant grove.
Sad thing is that these dudes would get off on bond even if caught. Look at the arrest records online of a lot of folks. It’s repeat offenders year after years. DA is whack
The museums/butterflies at Fair Park are a common attraction that people will visit from out of town.
Imagine the more adventurous ones looking up the highest rated restaurants nearby and walking over to visit them.
all I’m saying is if a group of dudes are pointing guns at me I’m driving forward or reverse idc what I hit, I’m for sure not turning around giving them 2 shots
I say take all these young folks who want to play with toys like this and send them to the army. Draft their behinds.
Let natural selection take over. Get rid of this scum of the earth.
Yall got this all wrong 😂😂 that truck was stolen and spotted by the owner and his friends. They attempted to get the truck back you can't see it but the person driving off also had a gun. No one was shot, grazed, or injured they all missed. Most of them ran but the owner of the truck stayed. This was all over a stolen truck.
My parents grew up in the grove and I lived there the first several years of my life. Many parts of it I wouldn’t go to in the daylight.
It’s a shame, too. Was a really awesome area once upon a time.
Any news updates? My wife and I have strategy discussions about this kind of thing. The best thing to do here was to hit the gas and drive at the guy in black that walked up with the gun. Before he got to the truck.
Holy shit, anyone know what the outcome of this was? Hopefully these 4 were terrible shots, and were promptly arrested.
I don’t know, but the truck hit the trailer and stopped, I don’t think the outcome was good … hopefully there is some evidence of who they are to bring them to justice.
Looks like he was reversing at the end. Hope they made it.
Gotta hurry up and drive out of this hellhole called… \*checks location name\* …”Pleasant Grove”.
Petition to rename it to Unpleasant Grove
Pretty sure the truck driver was shot several times since he drove right into the trailer shortly after the gunshots, and then just silence. No reverse, no door opening, no honking, no shooting back. I don’t know if that’s accurate at all. This looks like an ambush and this town is known for drug/gang//cartel activity. There’s no news on this either somehow so I will keep believing until I see otherwise.
There’s no way. This is had to be gang/drug/cartel. It’s also not on our news
Ain't nobody stepping on cartel feet unless they want their entire family tree dissappeared
I didn’t see any glass break and the lady *I think* said something about a tire getting popped so maybe they just shot out the tires. But it seems likely that some shots went through the body of the truck which could very easily have hit someone(s) inside.
Glass doesn’t always shatter, sometimes it goes straight through and leaves a hole
Bullets can go through car windows and shatter them without fully breaking them. From the distance the video was shot, you probably wouldn't be able to tell the glass was shattered. This is Dallas, we have one of the lowest homicide clearance rates. I’m skeptical if they will be caught.
You can see blood on the driver side window right before he hit the truck
Bunch of foo’s and cuh’s
They look like kids.
Look at them, they are kids.

Do criminals have special access or something? If there are leas in circulation, criminals will have less, too. Not to mention that criminals don't just not care about the law. They pick and choose crimes based on reward and convenience. Even Gangs don't just run around doing whatever because they are criminals...
Nope. They won't. I used to think that way as well. It's another stalling tactic.
These kids are gonna end up on a tshirt. Won’t lose sleep over it though.
End up on a t-shirt?
They get spray painted on white tee with angel wings & a "RIP BigBandsTony" or some shit whenever they die. Usually worn by their loser friends.
BigBandsTony 😂 I’ve made my children vow to place me on a tee shirt with me in a cloud smiling as well as only 90s pop hits for all occasions. This should be at least 50 years in the future but planning is everything.
They all Unloaded on that truck. I think we just witnessed a murder. The lady filming is all chill about it. That’s crazy
She acted like it’s a daily occurrence lol. It’s insane.
It is in the Grove.
In PG it is definitely daily there. I lived there for a year and hearing gunshots and sirens were pretty common daily
You want her screaming or shaky cam?
Call me a pussy idc but this one of those areas of Dallas I won't visit if I have no business being there.
Thats called being intelligent friend
Too bad for the people driving through that exit to get gas not knowing any better.
That isn't being a pussy
my first memories living in this neighborhood is the gas station clerk getting killed down the road from this location. That was the 90's. Sad to see my hometown get worse every decade or so. Still love it though and if you mind your business you'll be ok. No matter where you are at be on the look out and get out the way as fast as you can.
They look like children.
Two of them have beards, and a third appears to weigh about 250 pounds. Also, they have guns, and are shooting guns. They are not children.
I couldn't find this on any local news, or the DFW Scanner group. Dallas Police active calls shows that there is a (singular) police unit at the address shown in the video, for a shooting. Incident number [24-0568601](https://www.dallasopendata.com/Public-Safety/Dallas-Police-Active-Calls/9fxf-t2tr/explore/query/SELECT%0A%20%20%60incident_number%60%2C%0A%20%20%60division%60%2C%0A%20%20%60nature_of_call%60%2C%0A%20%20%60priority%60%2C%0A%20%20%60date_time%60%2C%0A%20%20%60date%60%2C%0A%20%20%60time%60%2C%0A%20%20%60unit_number%60%2C%0A%20%20%60block%60%2C%0A%20%20%60location%60%2C%0A%20%20%60beat%60%2C%0A%20%20%60reporting_area%60%2C%0A%20%20%60status%60%0AWHERE%20caseless_one_of%28%60incident_number%60%2C%20%2224-0568601%22%29%0AORDER%20BY%20%60time%60%20ASC%20NULL%20LAST/page/filter), from 1:44 PM.
Wow this is a pathetic response on the part of DPD.
That's not unusual for the grove.. Police show up to collect the bodies after the shooting stops and it's not even reported on the news.. Urban dictionary: (NSFW) [https://i.ibb.co/Sdc8fkt/pg-is-krunk.jpg](https://i.ibb.co/Sdc8fkt/pg-is-krunk.jpg)
Had to confirm it with the vid, nasty work
No news story anywhere either
So much of the southern sector of Dallas is ignored by the media. It's why people think crime is so much worse now days because they see it all over these social media outlets. Crime has actually went down since the 80/90s. Majority of the crime in the southern sector gets ignored unless it's posted like this.
"Come visit Texas!" Nah. I'm good.
If someone came to texas, and decided to visit pleasant grove, are they just fucking stupid? Lifetime Texan, and you couldn't fucking pay me to go to pleasant grove.
The wild, Wild West
Bruh,fuck the grove.....
Pleasant Grove is anything but pleasant.
Sad thing is that these dudes would get off on bond even if caught. Look at the arrest records online of a lot of folks. It’s repeat offenders year after years. DA is whack
You don't earn a nickname like Let-em-Go Creuzot for nothing.
Typical

Damn counted like 25
Lmao I work in the golf club nearby there, its insane how theres multi millionaires playing golf right next to this😭😭
The museums/butterflies at Fair Park are a common attraction that people will visit from out of town. Imagine the more adventurous ones looking up the highest rated restaurants nearby and walking over to visit them.
Love Keeton. Thanks for keeping it awesome!
Not surprised at all coming out of PG.

They started blasting
Absolutely nothing will come of it. Police do literally nothing these days.
Don’t be like these guys
Anybody have any news on the driver?
I live in D/FW. I'll watch the news tonight and report back.
Nothing on WFAA or local Fox.
Man he dead
Not so pleasant after all
all I’m saying is if a group of dudes are pointing guns at me I’m driving forward or reverse idc what I hit, I’m for sure not turning around giving them 2 shots
How lovely..
Doesn’t seem very pleasant to me
I say take all these young folks who want to play with toys like this and send them to the army. Draft their behinds. Let natural selection take over. Get rid of this scum of the earth.
I’m not trying to serve with these idiots
I suppose the guys pulling the trigger think this makes the "real men". Pathetic...
Shooter attempted to recover his stolen vehicle and fired multiple rounds at suspects. No injuries.
Just more people that would rather spend life in prison. They love getting it in the ass anyways.
Man they are so tough.
Tonight on the first 48...
Broad day with no masks. What the hell would it take to get you so reckless?
Glad to see things are still pleasant
What happened?!
Pleasant? Ummm.. ok.. not so sure really, but ok. Right.
Nothing pleasant about the grove y’all
That star is so perfectly placed
Guns attract losers.
Could be a cartel hit. He had to record it and get close for confirmation.
My parents grew up in the grove and I lived there the first several years of my life. Many parts of it I wouldn’t go to in the daylight. It’s a shame, too. Was a really awesome area once upon a time.
Nothing Pleasant about Pleasant Grove
They were looking to get a nice new truck
I don't think that dude will ever drive again.
That about sums up this city tbh.
Little Juarez.
Sock check foo
How to throw ur life away in 10 seconds caught on video swat gonna come deep knocking doors down
I sure wouldn't have wanted to get out of that truck
More like Unpleasant Grove am I right?
"aN aRmEd SoCiEtY iS a PoLiTe SoCiEtY" This is Republican gun laws at work.
I wonder if they built taller fences around the neighborhood that would help improve things.
Did anybody got hurt
sounded like automatic fire
No. It was just multiple guns.
My friend lives three blocks away. Our city becomes less and less safe every day.
How pleasant.
MUH RIGHTS LISTEN TO THAT EAGLE CRY!!
No mames, Edgar!
Ah yes Pleasant grove, sounds like a nice place, but it's not
I’d hate to get smoked in general, but getting taken out by a bunch of out of shape Edgar’s would be a nightmare.
Dude had a chopper
Any news updates? My wife and I have strategy discussions about this kind of thing. The best thing to do here was to hit the gas and drive at the guy in black that walked up with the gun. Before he got to the truck.
Did the guy die. In the truck
Why did I leave my peaceful small town for Dallas? Why!!! Instant regret.
That just broke my heart.
Um, walk towards my car with a raised firearm and you will learn why I take my drills so seriously. Shot placement FTW.
did one of them have a auto switch? It sounded like a smg for a sec
He smashed all the Cheetos
