Oh, I see! In the UK, often you can pick up generic here too, but I'm sure benadryl is a pharmacy only medication cause it's sedation. I'm not sure, though.
The benedryl in the UK does not sedate like the one in the US ... So you can buy it over the counter and it will not give you any high effect. It barely even makes you drowsy š¤·š¤·š¤·
And the only diphenhydramine stuff is like Nytol one a night... You can buy it over the counter but only one box and it's not meant for more than a few days use. The pharmacist will tell you to go see your GP after a few nights if you're still needing it :)
I just checked Amazon, 650 pills for Ā£7 (I converted for you). Thatās slightly alarming.
One pill is Diphenhydramine HCl 25mg. Thatās standard for the OTC name brand or generic here in the US.
Some thoughts that last nightās insomnia brought me:
I Wonder where sheās gonna put the tube feeds to travel. Sheās gonna need a LOT of them for a four week stay - would take up her whole luggage allowance on their own. I wonder if sheās gonna pull a Temple and just not gonna bother taking any (if she even goes). Mayo aināt gonna be too impressed about the fact sheās not even trying which she isnāt.

Eh, it depends on how old her phone is (presuming she has an iPhone). iPads for the past couple years all use USB-C chargers, however, iPhones (at least as recently as the 14, canāt vouch for the 15) still use lightning chargers. So, two totally different chargers. Also, the devices usually only come with a 3ft cable which can be frustrating depending on where an available outlet for charging is.
This had me worried I was super dumb because afaik my phone and tablet definitely can't use the same charger. I looked it up to make sure my brain wasn't faulty and found if the devices are not from similar years (like an iPhone older than the 15 with a new iPad) there will be a USB-C/lightning cable mismatch. But who ever knows with Dani.

Danis teaching how to budget is hurting my head and I'm a full grown adult who can't even deal with numbers without help!! Her list doesn't make any sense... There's rent, utilities, insurances, pets, food that we all know she absolutely eats a shed load of, and household items like toiletries and cleaning. I wish that social security could go right to the landlord. Not a thing in the US. I do case management and work with a lot of people who get benefits but struggle to get bills paid. You can appoint someone else to collect your benefits check and that person can pay your bills on your behalf. There are also companies that do this for a fee. I work with a lot of people who refuse these options and cannot understand why their electric is off. Drives me bonkers.

Iām not in NJ but NY but they are almost Identical. If your rent is 1200$ a month your voucher pays 1000$ & you owe 200$. I lived in a building with section 8 tenants & the sweet old lady across the hall from me was section 8 & paid 200$ a month for rent. Some months she had the 200$ some months she didnāt. I know she owed the LL company like 6k worth of her portion. I know it seems like a lot but her voucher is a guaranteed 1k every month. The landlords would rather lose out on 200$ than a guaranteed 1k.
Not saying thatās what happened hereājust saying thatās how a lot of people on section 8 end up owing money.

Eh, it depends on how old her phone is (presuming she has an iPhone). iPads for the past couple years all use USB-C chargers, however, iPhones (at least as recently as the 14, canāt vouch for the 15) still use lightning chargers. So, two totally different chargers. Also, the devices usually only come with a 3ft cable which can be frustrating depending on where an available outlet for charging is.

I wish that social security could go right to the landlord. Not a thing in the US. I do case management and work with a lot of people who get benefits but struggle to get bills paid. You can appoint someone else to collect your benefits check and that person can pay your bills on your behalf. There are also companies that do this for a fee. I work with a lot of people who refuse these options and cannot understand why their electric is off. Drives me bonkers.

Iām not in NJ but NY but they are almost Identical. If your rent is 1200$ a month your voucher pays 1000$ & you owe 200$. I lived in a building with section 8 tenants & the sweet old lady across the hall from me was section 8 & paid 200$ a month for rent. Some months she had the 200$ some months she didnāt. I know she owed the LL company like 6k worth of her portion. I know it seems like a lot but her voucher is a guaranteed 1k every month. The landlords would rather lose out on 200$ than a guaranteed 1k. Not saying thatās what happened hereājust saying thatās how a lot of people on section 8 end up owing money.

I have had patients with liquid medications fly into the US. As long as we write them a letter most airports will allow you to take liquid meds through.
