Thanks! I designed the weapons myself, and I got the armor files from a website, which was scaled down and edited. The entire armor and weapons are resin printed.
I just uploaded the exact files for 1/6 scale [here](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6597697).
If you're looking for the original files for full scale armor, they can be found [here](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6382977).
Hey i have not noticed something odd about dead space cosplayers. A lot of them dont use the cyan colored lights in their rigs instead they use blue lights just like u. Why is that? Is producing cyan light really that hard
That's a fair question! I did initially order "Cyan" LEDs, waited weeks for them and ended up with [this](https://imgur.com/a/CB7JVtd). It was way more green than advertised and I ended up having to use Ice Blue LEDs instead which was frustrating. Seems like true Cyan is not really manufactured that much if at all, since I couldn't find much about it.
Though for something as large as an actual cosplay, I think people use Blues because they're just more available. There are addressable RGB strips that let you set any color you'd like, they just require a bit more work to set up compared to regular strips or leds, as well as programming with something like Arduino.
Actually there no cyan leds. There is only white, red, yellow, green and blue leds while blue being the most difficult one to make. There are also programmable rgb led. U might use that to create cyan lights.
The mobile game had one of the plasma saws, not sure why the actual games never had any other than **STOMP**. I got them from old concept art that was mostly never used and designed them after it because I thought they were kinda neat.
Because melee range is exactly where the necromorphs want you.
Plus the developers stated they wanted you to feel vulnerable once the necromorphs closed in, the best thing you can do is smack them for breathing room and then run for it to create distance again. Adding to the intensity.
Unfortunately no, sorry. The resin snaps easily due to the original armor files being thin, makes it difficult to pose the character. At best I can provide the files if anyone wants to make it themselves.
Thanks a lot! I've had them uploaded for a while but the rules specify no advertising :(
[I can link you to the armor files which are free.](https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6597697) You can find more Dead Space related stuff on my profile or the description.
When you mean no advertising do you mean you sell the weapon models somewhere or that type of model isn’t allowed? Would like to print a plasma saw or the pistol
Thank you! I did, I used cheap 1/6 scale clothing for it. [I have older pictures before it was finished if you'd like to see more.](https://imgur.com/a/27Q158L)
I was really impressed by this cosplay until I realized it wasn't a cosplay. Not sure if this is more or less impressive however. Gonna need some time to process this.
[I do have some of the parts printed out full scale, just havent gotten around to continuing working on more. Here's the helmet with the 1/6 scale one.](https://i.imgur.com/03JpWiq.jpeg)
This is quite incredible
Thank you!
That is so awesome. How did you make it yourself ??

Ty!
Very nice job on the weathering of the materials, that's never an easy task.
Holy fuck op this looks fantastic! Now put it in a jar
Nu uh.

Now that I think about it, why aren't there any melee weapons in Dead Space?

Vulnerable when they close in? Nah, I use the ripper. Tear everything to absolute shreds the second it gets remotely close
This is one of the best dead space figures I’ve seen; beautiful job my dude!
I want one :(. (This looks sick as a mother fucker)
Repurposed Spartan Locke is that? Regardless of the origins, this is epic OP Kudos
Thank you! And the armor was entirely 3D printed using files someone ripped from the game.
Shit raw asf
Everything looks badass
YOU COOKED WITH THIS GAHDAMN
The level of detail and your use of dark colors really levels this piece up. I love it.
Made????????? You made this?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Do you like work for a toy company or something cuz Holy shit this is beautiful
I wish! But thank you. This was done with a cheap 1/6 scale figure, 1/6 scale clothes (jacket, pants, shoes) and 3D printed parts.
Fuck yeah!
Radical
Modern problems require modern solutions. Great work
you're my hero
This is amazing and I’m very jealous lol
Thats Fucking awsome dude.
You selling em?
Unfortunately no, sorry. The resin snaps easily due to the original armor files being thin, makes it difficult to pose the character. At best I can provide the files if anyone wants to make it themselves.
The figure is top notch! Are you uploading the weapon models?

I do sell the bundle which includes all the files in their 1/6 scale, I've yet to scale them up to their real size but I plan to in the future.
This is insane and I love it.
Dude!!! This is amazing!! I can't believe the detail work. You are an artist and craftsman of highest caliber!!
Looks great! I just started Dead Space 2 today!
I eventually plan to do something like this with the level 3 rig suit. Very nice. 🤌
Lovely looking! Well done!
Heat 🥵
Good to see some plasma saw appreciation
PLASMA SAW MENTIONED!!!!
Honestly that looks fire my guy, did u use real cloth as the outfit underneath the armour? Cuz that Creases so naturally.
Thank you! I did, I used cheap 1/6 scale clothing for it. [I have older pictures before it was finished if you'd like to see more.](https://imgur.com/a/27Q158L)
Impeccable work. This is awesome
I would pay so much money for this. Good f’in job
Its so cool, you should make the foam finger
You're so right, how could I forget?
I was really impressed by this cosplay until I realized it wasn't a cosplay. Not sure if this is more or less impressive however. Gonna need some time to process this.

Gahhh, I got so jealous, I thought this was cosplay for a sec before reading the title XD
Let’s just hope you don’t have an inept director leading this guy in a near-fruitless effort to detain a lone loony engineer
How much do you want for it
