I dealt with something like this the other day. I dropped into a haz 3 or 4 mission. The three other dwarves were unpromoted and all downed when I dropped in. Meanwhile, there was a bulk detonator, a korlok, and a large hoard of bugs in the small area we were in. Checked for nitra and they didn't have any resupplies.
So, I went to work. I popped a shredder, pulled out the plasma cutter, and started clearing the grunts for some breathing room. Then whittled down the detonator, lead it into the thickest cluster of korlok sprouts, and detonated it. Then I went about clearing new spawns and picked up the first greenbeard. I guarded them with the lok rifle while they picked each other back up. We then cleared the korlok.
We call the drop pod and the one driller immediately starts downing the greenbeards and then tried for me. I made him wait out the launch timer to spite him.
Yeah but then all the mistakes when we killed our teamates would count too, I would add a system where people could vote for player and someone with lot of votes would get penilyzed for killing teamates.
yeah let me just stop shooting the million bugs coming my direction so I can avoid shooting the guy purposefully standing in front of me to get killed, so I don't get punished. Great idea
I think best weapon's for pvp
Gunner - revolver, max DMG, elephant rounds
Scout - M1000
Engie - Laser or hyper-propelant
Driller - well, c4 only and hiding in tunnels.
Yeah, maybe, but imho - if we talking about DRG pvp, whe know about drillers mostly close ranged weapons. So you can run or shot driller when he try to reach you
Yesterday I had a driller who kept C4ing me for the memes. I need to host more often so I can just kick them. If they don't get consequences, they don't learn.
Engie is tough to PVP as, unless you got a fat boy or hyperprop.
Why are all the team killers drillers, and all the guys who ruin missions by hitting buttons, a scout?
I'd C4 troll, but only with friends over VC and stuff, we all good around so just doing it once as a gaff is chill. But please people, don't do crap like that in pubs -_-
Would be funny (If all parties are aware) to play a sort of manhunt game. some people are trying to complete the mission, ( low hazard, long and complex tho) the others hunt the players, when the players are both downed, the hunters simultaneously res the players then the roles are reversed. first team to get in the pod wins.
Seeing the comments here, there have been a lot more team-killing since the last season dropped. I encountered my first intentional team-kill in 600hrs of play yesterday. The engi host just shotgunned me to death all of a sudden. I typed wtf? and he said no joke, you shot me first. Bro I am driller and you were in range of my cryo cannon. I was just shooting bugs and you happened to be there. It doesn’t even do alot of damage. I called him petty and a child and then he kicked me, good riddance.
But ngl, toxic behaviour has been on the rise since this season came out. I’m trying to recall if it was so toxic at the beginning of last season, and I remember it was less fun to play at the start of the season because people were try-harding but it wasn’t so toxic. Just hoping that as time goes on and the casual players leave, the experience will be better.
I've met toxic players only twice in my 37 hours but they were the same guys both times. It's actually more common to find the same person on seperate occasion than to run into someone toxic.
Leaf lover backstabbers' behaviour. Hope the management will send them to fish out barrels from the launch bay
Damn, the rivals are getting really advanced now
The new cyborgs are crazy, and the best part they were telling me in VC to not run and come to them, so it felt like fighting nemesis
And we still don't know the difference between rock and stone nonetheless our own co-workers from rivals
We fight for Rock and Stone!
ROCK AND STONE EVERYONE!!
ROCK AND STONE YEEAAAH
good bot

My life, for Rock and Stone!
I believe there is a secret online kabal of disgruntled DRG players that have come together to create a faux rival organization.
This is why we can't have nice things...
Where can I get those? At the shop?!
You can't have them. Assholes will break them.
Awww :(

Damn I should have done that, but i couldnt do it to the other guy.
Players should get their rewards penalized for team killing. Might cut down on this leaf lover bullshit.

Nope, mistakes too. Can't discriminate
Anytime that sort of thing gets added to games, you get people who troll by purposely being killed by teammates to trigger consequences.
I'd rather they off themselves than team kill everyone else. Seems like a good trade off.
but then people get punished for shit that wasnt their fault. not a good trade off
Or it encourages them to have better trigger discipline and it's an excellent trade off

Yeah, now you're getting it.
I really like that idea, but teamkillers would just factor that into the cost of teamkilling.
Now I wanna see organised pvp tournaments in drg.. wonder how that'd look
when I did that scout kept winning.
M1000 SCC moment
and zhukovs.

cryo is pretty great for pvp. or so I've heard from terrible pepo
Yeah, maybe, but imho - if we talking about DRG pvp, whe know about drillers mostly close ranged weapons. So you can run or shot driller when he try to reach you
unnecesary?
Maybe, but you could probably argue that for many tournaments really. It could still be fun
The problem is that DRG isn't pvp focused. Most it's got is friendly fire, but that's to tell you "watch where you shoot"
That's true ig yea. It could be modded for pvp but still might be a bit weird to do
not drg, doesn't fit the nature nor the general desire of the fanbase
Also the devs said 100% no. same with dwarf seggs
how about loot bug seggs though?
Why did you post this twice?
My post got removed for posting screenshot of our chat with their name

New enemy type???
Drillers out here trying to kill us scouts until they remember that we can literally 2 tap them from miles away with the m1k and supercooled chamber

Yeah i noticed it too, but its probably because more people joined the DRG comunity and its given that toxic people would come too
Yeah hope it settles down after some time :)
Man, I can be idiotic and jump in front of drillers, but I don't bloody complain. Completely valid, he is utterly childish, probs like bloody 10.
