From what I can tell, Toby doesn’t believe in internally flipping a side sprite, he’s rather just have a separate sprite for every left and right in the game
I assume since some characters aren’t symmetrical so the left and right sprites will be different. It’s probably just easier to use the same system for all sprites than have multiple types
I'm pretty sure that's just Toby being lazy and not creating a separate sprite sheet for the new character - taking advantage of the similar appearance.
