Manno in Dearborn. It’s where all the Ford executives have been going for decades. A bit pricey though, but their work is impeccable. If you’re going for more modern styling, I’d look elsewhere.
I went to tailored detroit. it was okay - paid 700 total. felt a little bummed that it was actually made and tailored in china and shipped back to detroit to be given to me.
about six weeks. be warned though, because it ships from china, it's not like there's someone in house that can rush the job for you. I got my suit the exact evening before I needed it.
I chose the suit at the store, they took my measurements at a fitting and then sent that off to be made. I had no idea it wasn't going to be tailored in house actually. they will do it both ways - off the rack or completely custom.
It shouldn't be even that much tbh, I had my whole wedding suit tailored for like 240 I think? He did a fantastic job. Sophia's Tailoring on Plymouth Rd in Livonia
Tailored Detroit; I paid for it. It was a lot, and also worth it.

How pricey?
A bespoke blazer from any decent maker is going to be a lot more than $1000 unfortunately
manno in dearborn. they do REALLY good work.

Suit or blazer?
I apologize - suit!
No that's reasonable. How long did the process take?

From the ground up or you chose one there and they did it in China

I'm being a weirdo and want an old school style jacket that I KNOW they ain't gonna have in the store
might be worth a shot to have it custom! my next bet would be to pursue an independent tailor, or even someone off etsy.

From the ground up? Or you got one and they adjusted it
Oh I see, yeah I got one online and he adjusted it. Sorry, I'm not sure about anyone doing it form the ground up, good luck!
