The main problem isn't necessarily with the RK900, but with Amanda using Connor, only to use him with the intention of replacing him from the beginning. I hate Amanda much more than the actual model of the new Connor.

My theory is that Kamski initially wrote her to possibly help other androids towards becoming deviant and when he left, rather than rewriting her program entirely. Cyberlife just wrote on top of his programing, making what she says a weird mix of his views and cyberlife's views, constantly at odds with one another.
Like, it's almost like Kamski initially didn't separate the program from the person. If you look at Amanda's profile, it has her "Date of Birth" being "05-14th-1978". Which is the DOB of Amanda Sterling, the person that Amanda is based off (Kamski's mentor).
I really like this theory! It makes a lot of sense. I believe Amanda was actually pretty different irl compared to her AI counterpart based on all of this and Cyberlife's involvement.
I think there are a lot of hints to the real Amanda. I do think the zen garden, her appearance and particular fondness for roses were a part of the real Amanda's personality. I think she was kind and wise. The manipulation and the more negative traits are Cyberlife writing on top of her persona. I think there are hints to this in the Zen Garden having a backdoor switch so that Connor maintains his deviancy. Which means that the Zen Garden part was all created by Kamski initially.
