I got just the saw last month and thought it'd be ok. The saw is amazing and I absolutely love using it but it's pretty heavy and awkward to move around from the garage to the backyard. I definitely regret not getting the cart for the extra $100. It would have made it more friendly during my remodel

Hey, thanks for you input. Did you get on sale?

I got the saw on sale at Lowes because I had gift cards to use. They don’t have the rolling cart sadly so I need to find it elsewhere and probably pay full price.

Check out ebay, I got mine cheap there.

The same package is $878 at acme tool. Yeah looks like a great deal to me. I have that stand and the 2 * 60V battery version of that saw. It’s an awesome combination. I will tell you be careful when assembling the stand, I stripped out a nut using my 888 to screw stuff in. It’s also easy to mount the saw backwards 🤦‍♂️ I recommend using a drill with a low clutch setting to assemble. Other than that I absolutely love this combination. It’s a great saw and that stand makes it really easy to move the saw around which considering how much weight the stand adds to the total package is no small feat!

Hey, thanks for the advice on putting that stand together. Glad to hear it’s a good combo!

No worries! Enjoy it!

It's a good deal if you need a rolling stand. Be careful though, the rolling stand doesn't have a super wide wheelbase and its top heavy so it's easy to roll over and drop while wheeling it around. I'm such a fan of the DWX723, everything from the sturdiness to the extension length, I honestly can't imagine that having wheels makes up for losing that unless you're doing more transporting than you are cutting.
