Ashwold. Good music, quiet mobs, slow or fast farming friendly. Compact setup in town. Seems to be extraordinarily high lair spawn rate but that may be because I spend so much time there

Best for that, yeah, but on my server, bilefen is always PACKED with people fishing so performance is trash all over the zone. That area particularly still has spooners occasionally. Now it's mostly 4 packs of a main and 3 alts. Weird stuff watching 3 similarly named characters stand behind one fishing, doing fuck all, lol
I prefer quiet spots where there are less likely to be players. So I go to the cradle (latest story area).
Library, Shassar, Bilefen will always be full in my server, and Stormpoint is also getting worse.
I started my grind in Stormpoint ship graveyard; saw it from Misery Hates Company, and was new to the game about 2 months ago. Since I was below server paragon I didnt need to grind much.

Jesus, the amount of hours spent on that spot, still running circles like crazy. We even have a meme between our clan/warband - log into the game, see your friend way ahead in levels, let's say 935, write in world chat "ohhh, lvl 935 schizophrenia I see". They see that and they know ahahah
1. Ruins of Secheron. High respawn rates, multiple hidden lair entrances, & everything you kill builds up the Call of the Ancients, which gets you even more materials. Alternate between this and:
2. Dark Woods (anywhere). Reaching 100% corruption sends you to the Tree, which drops a legendary shard, which is useful in building up legendary gear.
3. The bottom left hand room in the Library of Zholtan Kulle. It has fast refresh, as well as it's own boss and side quest.
Ship graveyards, Stormpoint. Far east of halls of punishment waypoint, realm of damnation. They both have goblins and orange bosses + dust events and you will be emptying your bags every 10-15 minutes.
Legendary items can be broken down to essences which can then be applied to other legendaries. That is usually what is meant by essence farming.
Farming monster essences is referred to as OWF (overworld farming).

Depends what you're farming for. Farming for scrap I like to do cursed towers. I get anywhere between 50-150 scrap per run. Library is good for monstrous essence and scrap. It takes a while to get a full inventory for ~140 scrap though, but you can also get infinite kill streaks for XP.

The little bridge (by the ship) in Bilfen is the best place to fish imo. There’s a lair right there and surrounded by mobs for mons essence

Cradle is my favorite! I feel like I get better essence drop even when solo farming. I think a lot of people avoid it due to Stormpoint PTSD.

Accursed tower. 4 member parties can max out daily gems in 20 mins (on avg).

Damnation, at the north of the camp there is a road you can clean in 25-40s and you kill like 80+ mobs

Returning player here. What’s the area in the library? I’ve always heard library is great but could never find the actually rotation.
Bottom left hand room - spawns 5 groups of five every few minutes, has it's own boss, has it's own sidequest.
Nothing comes close to library.
Library or Cradle (just because it's quiet) Sometimes I can get two Jurat kills back to back because he's been there so long.
