That’s the drain plug for the cooling system. You can try to tighten it, if it still leaks you need to drain it and put some pipe dope on the plug(or replace it with a petcock)

Negative. That is the lower radiator hose on a paccar product. Not an exhaust pipe

Beginning_Box_9813

Its aluminum

I like to replace with a teflon taped brass plug. Those allen plugs don't seal if over tightened.

Pull a vacuum on the cooling system, pull the plug out. Put thread sealant on the plug and put it back in.

I had the truck in the shop for my 90 day bit and to test coolant system for a previous leak. I’ll make an attempt to tightening, but it continues to leak, I’ll just take it back to shop. Thanks for the response.

Yes, like everyone else, its the drain for the coolant. All I do is have a plug the same size, take that one out really quick. Plug it with my finger. Install the other plug really quick. Reseal the original and reinstall it the same way. Obviously do it when the truck has been sitting over night to cool off. Don't do that with the engine hot. It will not be a good time at all.
