I actually got back to playing it around this time last year. It’s pretty fun, a lot of underrepresented dinosaurs in it. It gets harder as the game progresses, naturally. But it comes to a point where your regular in-game currency guns just aren’t good enough, and the freemium ones are what could help you out because they do more damage against dinosaurs that move much faster

Eventually they start repeating the previous trophy hunt dinosaurs/pterosaurs tho. It's kinda annoying at that point

Iirc the last apex/boss carnivore I had to hunt was Acrocanthosaurus. But a lot of hadrosaurs, pterosaurs and compsognathus types are obvious reskins

Last time I played the game it went something like this. 1. Grind to max out the starter rifle. 2. Kill each required rifle boss. 3. Get stuck on the last boss because it needs way more shots than the previous ones. 4. Use the slow motion power-up or the super bullet power-up. 5. Move on to the next map that gives me new weapons. 6. Have no problems beating any of the new weapon bosses. (Including last ones) 7. Have to face the last rifle boss. 8. Repeat steps 3 and 4. 9. Run out of power-ups. 10. Delete the game because I refuse to be a pay-to-win.

I always got my friend to do it, I’m one of the people who struggled with pterandons and stegosaurus. Pterandons are scary jokers. When my friend would shoot the T. rex I would be jumping around hoping he wasn’t about to die

I remember playing this with my sister and rage quit at the trex stage. A few years ago I installed it again but it didn't give me the same taste as before.

Played after I watched The Gaming Beaver did a couple of episodes on it, it’s a decent game, and damn, it’s been like 11-12 years since then now…

After a while its too much of pay to win. The energy requirement to play is annoying af. It was enjoyable in the earlier stages though.
